Waterproof pocket exotics egg - vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by SMichelle

When my favorite vibrator burnt out, I was on a mission to find another that could fill the void. I was also on a mission to try something new. California Exotic's Waterproof Pocket Egg fit the bill. One of the best things about it is that it's waterproof, which makes showertime a lot of fun.

This little darling is excellent for clitoral stimulation. The four levels of vibrations range from weak, to really strong. This was great for me, as sometimes, the fourth (and strongest) vibration option sends me to a state of orgasmic bliss within seconds, whereas the lowest option provides a nice teaser, for the times when I want to experience a slow buildup.

I have used this toy for vaginal stimulation as well, however I would not recommend it. Once it's inside, the only way to pull it out is by pulling on the cord, and there's just too much of a risk that the cord will break. Beyond that, I just felt like it was too small to provide me with the internal stimulation that I require -- though it was a very interesting feeling.

This toy is also not suitable for anal usage, due to the size and shape of it. There is just too much of a possibility that toy will get stuck inside, which could result in an embarrassing trip to the doctor. If you're looking for a toy that you can use anally, this is not the one for you.

This toy is made out of "Velvet Cote", which rates as an 8 on the safety scale. This means that you're going to want to go for a waterbased, or silicone, lubricant, if you need one. Personally, I didn't need any lubricant with this toy.

Now, the one thing that you need to keep in mind with Velvet Cote products is you can't boil them, but for me, that's not a big deal.

Both the egg itself and the controller feel incredibly soft and smooth, yet I'm still able to get a good grip on both. This material being so soft, it feels nice on even my most sensitive parts.

When I first got this toy, I was a little surprised at the size of it. It is extremely small being only 2" in length, and 1 3/8" in diameter at the widest point. I was expecting something a little bigger. Once I tried the toy, however, I was in love. Both the egg and controller fit easily into the palm of my hand, making it easy for me to put the egg exactly where I want it, and for me to control the vibrations. The size and shape of the egg also make the egg perfect for clitoral stimulation. The length of the cord makes it easy for me to hold the egg upon my clitoris while holding the controller in my other hand.

Due to its small size, this toy is suitable for both travel, and hiding. I like that I can fit the toy in almost any space available. I also like that that the controller is attached to the egg, as I tend to lose things, though some might find that the cord gets in the way.

The only downside to this toy that I can see is that there is no quick off button on the controller. This could be a problem for anyone who may get interrupted while playing. That said, it doesn't take long to cycle through all the vibration levels to get the toy to shut off, so it's really not a problem for me.

The controller has two arrows that are labeled as "on" and "off". Unfortunately, the "off" arrow does not mean "off" if you are at vibration level 4 -- it simply means "go down a level", until you reach the off setting. I would've really liked to have seen an instant off button on this toy. I did, however, really like that the controller has lights that indicate which vibration setting the toy is on.


About the vibration levels themselves, I noticed a distinct difference between all the levels. They are all very steady vibration levels, however there was an obvious difference in the levels.

Now about the noise level...this toy is pretty quiet. I feel comfortable using it with people in the next room. However, if you have thin walls, or a roommate? This may be a little loud for you, at least on the highest setting, which can be a little rumble-y.

This toy is a really low-maintenance toy. You simply clean it with anti-bacterial soap and water, or wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol. This toy is especially easy to wash because it's completely waterproof, which means you don't need to worry about accidentally damaging your toy.
