I have cried because it hurt so good and other times because the release was so intense I sort of hyperventilated and bawled at the same time. I cried during foreplay with my last partner. At that time, I had been very private about my body and very few people had ever seen me naked, this small number including the doctor who helped my mother during birth, my parents as a baby, and anyone who saw me run around naked as a child.

My tears have always been the type that occur from Tantric play or BDSM. The emotional release that I get from either of those can occasionally cause me to start crying. I've cried for the following reasons:

1) Bad flashbacks (no longer happens, happily)
2) Very very happy and emotional. Often post-orgasm.
3) Pain/humiliation (in the end, still a good thing)
4) I almost died once during sex. Don't ask. It brought on the tears and legit panic mode.

For #2 and #3, I don't feel weird crying and wouldn't feel weird if my partner cried, either.
