I;ve been to a few club events/play parties and to a couple of Munches.
The play parties are awesome.

I loved seeing a hook suspension demonstration at club Pandemonium, it was intense and beautiful.
At Club Rafters I was a participant in an impact demonstration, which was amazing and probably the best public session I've ever been in.

Sadly both clubs are no more.

Yup! I go to munches with my local group, go to book club, rope group and am waiting to turn 21 or for the venue to change so that I can go to the parties (the parties are thrown in a bar currently). c: I love going out and talking with like minded people.

I've never been, and not sure if I'd want to go...I'd be wary of the people there. I'm paranoid when it comes to creepers.

Yup, it was an all women's event in Baltimore. They had it set up so that it would be an exploritorium. So I pretty much ended up bottoming for knife play, needle play, and suspension all in one night. Then my friend and I had our own 2 hour long scene before we left. I also had a lot of fun being watched.

I slept VERY well that night, and was basically a puddle afterward.

Meh, a exhibition wouldn't necessarily be for me. However, if it was an exclusive promotional conventional like E3 or the SHOT show, then yes.

Workshops and a performance. Haven't been to a munch or play party yet. It's a struggle for me because of how introverted I am. Working up to them is hard, but I usually feel good about it afterwards.

been to many, if you are interested in getting started, look for munches, they are filled with kinky people meeting in a vanilla no pressure atmosphere and a great place to get an idea of what you are looking for.
