New to strap on use

WetJenn WetJenn
I am new to strap on use, and was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to get a good movement down? Silly as it sounds sound I practice beforehand? Im kinda like a fish out of water so any advice would totally be appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, practice! Someone advised me when I started to lean up against a door frame and practice thrusting that way. That helped give me an idea of what the heck I was supposed to be doing. Once I practiced a bit that way, I was able to use the harness for real with no problem!

Practicing is definitely not a bad idea. My husband and I have definitely ended up with a few awkward moments because I felt too awkward practicing, lol. We don't do it all the time, so each time is a little bit like the first. We start by getting him comfortable and inserting the dildo, then once he's used to it I ask what pace he wants to go at and we start with him being still and me moving until we can get in a rhythm like we do when it's him entering me.

Yep, practice. Walk around the house with it to get a feel for how it attaches and feels when it's on, "Jack off" a bit to get a feel for how the harness and dildo work during "use" (don't use too much lube, you want to feel it under "load"). Practice pelvic thrusts, practice in the various positions you're thinking of using (or as close to them as you can get).

Then let your partner practice with the detached dildo for a bit.
