Glass toys - need input and advice

Holly Hox Holly Hox
I have been thinking for a while about getting a glass toy. I have heard some stories of them breaking - thankfully none of the stories involved injuries. So I am a little nervous. I do not have any glass toys yet, but hear they are quite enjoyable.

So, my questions to you is this: What glass toys do you have that you'd say were MUST haves? What qualities in shape, etc should I keep in mind when purchasing? Keep in mind that I don't have a ton of money here. But I would like your thoughts.

THANKS!

Recently Kevin from XHale glass was interviewed about his business.

Check it out! It was really cool!

Hollyhox - I responded to your comments on a different thread link. But since this new thread has started I'll respond differently by giving you links to our favorite glass toys.
Lucid Heart (my favorite for anal): link
Silenzo (our newest): link
Xhale Gold Twister: link
Pallix Cherry Dichro: link
Phallix Rocky Road: link becareful not to go too big on this one
Phallix Dichroic Wrapped G-Spot: link we have this in both 1" and 1.25"
Phallix Mr. Blue: link ours has a handle that is very useful for partner play.

I guess you get the idea we like glass!

I have a few glass dildos and I've never had any of them break. They're usually really sturdy, so as long as you don't drop them on a hard floor or fling then around they should be fine.
Since it's your first I would recommend one that's fairly small in diameter and without sharp curves; glass is a lot harder than jelly, silicone, plastic, etc and is a different sensation. I know if I'd started with a big glass toy immediately I'd have been overwhelmed because they just don't have the give. Once you get used to it, though, it's awesome.
(I didn't rec. specific ones because it looks like Gunsmoke has given you a pretty extensive list

The phallix g-spot wonders are fantastic. I have one. I dropped it once on a tile floor and it didn't break. They're probably not as fragile as you're imagining they are.

Well Gunsmoke - I decided to buy the lucid heart one as a start. Of course, it is out of stock.

That's just as well - for a woman I believe the Lucid Heart too small and too smooth for vaginal use. The small size and smooth texture make it easy to use for anal beginners like me.

If your looking for vaginal & g-spot stimulation, one of my wife's favorites I forgot to mention earlier is the Gold-ribbed G-spot Wonder link. It's moderately sized 1-1/4" diameter and the texture is quite effective (so says my wife!).

Ok thanks for the heads up!! What about something a little cheaper? Or would you recommend I just save up to afford that?

Unfortunately good glass toys are expensive. I have found that if you know what you want and do an internet search for that specific item you can find the best price among many vendors. I'm kind of loyal to EF - but I understand your concern. I tried a search for this toy but everyone I found charges the same $70.

We have this one as well. It's quite nice - a good place to start. It won;t be long 'til you want something more - but you won't regret buying this one.

Good choice!
