If you enjoy anal play, did you ever have a relationship with a partner who also enjoyed this or indulged your desire, whereas now you are with one who will not?

OR....were you previously with a partner who would not "play that way" when you wanted to, but NOW you are with a partner who will?

I voted in a way that doesn't *quite* fit my answer, because I've had several partners, and several varying levels of anal interest.

I'm a big fan of anal play myself, but some partners have been much more eager than others to share exploring it with me. So, some relationships it was an every-other-day thing, others it's on the order of a time or two per month (which is kind of the minimum before I get antsy). When I was younger and in open relationships, some guys never expressed an interest at all and I got my needs met with other guys, so I've had a few relationships where it never got brought up at all.

In a monogamous relationship, I won't agree to have a relationship unless there's some degree of sexual compatibility, and that includes at least a moderate interest in anal.

Never really had a problem with this as it's one of my deal breakers. Interestingly enough, even when I was younger and in my teens, the girls I dated were more than happy to indulge and take it a bit further than I had expected, with nothing more than my moaning as a prompt. Guess I got lucky. I couldn't remain with someone who isn't interested in anal play to some degree.

I have only ever been in relationships where the woman has had a "mild interest" and it has never progressed beyond that. Have tried on quite a few occasions to very slowly warm up to more but never has progressed past a finger.

Some men have no problem asking, others do (are they shy or just not interested? idk). Some men are great at it, some miss the mark. Fortunately my current partner had no problem asking, and makes it so enjoyable that I have no problem agreeing every time.

Well..besides ME, who is VERY "into it", we have FOURTEEN regular married couples in our dinner group (our free speech, Friday Night parties), and ALL fourteen woman are "into it" to one level or another. A couple are true anal fanatics (prefer it over ALL other activities, with their husbands).

Try dating nurses, doctors, lawyers, policewoman, teachers and librarians. Don't know why, but from our limited experience, ha, ha, that is where you find the woman who are high experimentation, anal lovers. All professions in our group, by the way.

I haven't ever been with someone who was into it, except for my wife now, but I've always been fascinated with it. My wife now is willing, but we're taking it slow so she will be able to enjoy it in the future and we can do it more and more.

Had partners in the past who literally harrassed me about it to the point that it totally crossed the line. No means no. I'm not comfortable with anal and won't have someone keep on at me about any kind of sex. It's rude so thankfully my partner doesn't care to ever try it so I don't have to worry about being harrassed about it.
