My guy has always been into face sitting. He always use to ask me to allow him to give me oral with me sitting on his face. I turned him down over, and over again. Not because I didn't want to try it. More so, I was scared of beaking him ha-ha I have about 60lbs on him. So, After years of talking me into it. I finally did it. IT WAS AMAZING!! Like you my wife resisted it for years. She'll do it on occasion now, but I can't get her to be more active with her hips. It's not supposed to be a passive - the idea is to move your hips to enhance the sensations without suffocating the guy!
