Recently my husband and I have started discussing massaging his prostate and pegging.
A few days ago I purchased a beginner harness and tonight we are finally giving it a go.
What kind of advice would any of you have for us?
He's excited about it and I'm excited that he brought it up first! (I've been wanting to ask him to try it for a long time)
My main concern is his comfort, of course.

We actually just got our first harness not that long ago.

I had made a post and a lot of people chimed it with some great advice. You might want to browse through it here for some tips.

I wore my harness around the house for a few hours before we actually did anything to get used to it. That seemed to really help a lot. By the time we actually pegged, it felt like part of my body and very natural.

We started with him on his back so I could monitor his reaction to see if I was hurting him (in case he decided to try to be a trooper and not say anything). We started slow and I increased speed basically based on his reaction.

We also always have him put in a prostate massager or plug beforehand to warm up.

Thanks so much for sharing your post. I loved reading everyone's helpful tips and tricks. I will definitely put the harness on and get comfortable with.

Congratulations on trying this; I'm sure it will be a thrill for both of you. My advice as someone who has been on the receiving end would be to go slowly, make sure you open him up first with fingers or a smaller toy, use lots of lube (then more lube) and ask for feedback frequently. Communication is very important. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions of your husband about how it feels, pace, etc. Afterwards discuss how you both felt. Don't be afraid of trying new positions and don't be surprised if he doesn't get hard during the act. I tend not to keep an erection when my wife pegs me, but can still have an amazing orgasm when she hits the prostate just right.

In addition to wearing your harness and dildo around (and practicing "jacking off"), when you're ready to start a few pointers.

Make sure you choose a position where he can relax. Before penetration stimulate him and get him excited, but then his penis becomes a forbidden zone during insertion and a bit afterward while he's getting comfortable. Stimulating him during insertion will make his anus tense up. Once he's comfortable with the dildo inside and you've started thrusting you can start playing with his penis again if you want. Don't make him orgasm too fast, as play will probably stop shortly after his orgasm.
