New or Old Luggage?

Bignuf Bignuf
We travel a lot. A few years ago, I bought a nice, matched set of luggage to replace the hodge podge of bags I somehow accumulated over the years during or for specific trips. Now, with the SUPER LIGHT and FOUR WHEEL suitcases, I am feeling that it is time to buy another set.

SO...do you travel with STATE OF THE ART LUGGAGE (they have some with built in SKATEBOARDS and SEATS), or the "same old stuff" you have had for years? (or do you just buy the cheapest stuff you can find and replace it when needed)???

We have a hodge podge, but it works fine so I don't feel the need to replace it.

I have a very cheap set, but after two trips across the Atlantic... it's already starting to look cheap. My carry on bag is okay, but the bag I check is extremely banged up. I think it might be time to invest in a sturdier bag.

In-between. For my 24th birthday I got a nice matching set of Jeep brand luggage (two different sizes of rolling suitcases, an overnight bag, toiletries bag, and garment bag). It's not top-of-the-line or anything, but it's rugged, and looks good.
