Do you believe in "soul mates"

Contributor: Sinfully Sinfully
There's a possibility but I'm verging more on no.

Leonardo da Vinci: As a matter of fact, I ... more
Yup. I hate that this has happened to me. I still hope that in the future I find I was right all along and we were soulmates. Oh, silly hopes.

Love isn't easy its work. and a LOT of it. If you manage to find that perfect some one then it might be easy but there is still going to be a lot of work from both sides in order for it to work.

Yes I do believe everyone has someone out there they are meant to be with. Does that mean the relationship is going to be perfect? Absolutely not. My husband is my soul mate, but that doesn't mean we don't fight.

Being a Pagan I hear the term used beyond death. I know women who have had up to three soul mates in the time I've known them. It seems to just be a term used by people are are overly caught up in the person of their effections. When they are with that person, no one can tell them different about weather or not that person was their soul mate, but once they get in a fight "I was wrong, they weren't my soul mate." I've seen little evidence to back up the belief, but far more to disprove it. Even withing the context of the reincarnation beliefs held by the faiths within the Pagan community, there's little if any, constructs to set the belief up in the first place. If we believe we are all equally divine, then why would one person be more destined to be with me than any other?

I do...but I think we each have lots. Some to teach us lessons, and some to be friends, and someone or several who will stay with you forever (if you are poly for example)! I think I was meant to be with everyone I was ever with and I am who I am now thanks to those experiences. I think "just one" is not very realistic.

I'm on the fence about that. Neither yes or no... but there could be. I've never met anyone that I thought could be my soul mate, but you never know.

I believe that soul mates exists, but not everyone has one, that some can have multiple, and that few ever find their's.

I do believe everyone has a sole mate but I always believe that sometimes your sole mate is like a poison to you and isn't good for you at all so you may want to skip being with your sole mate. (similar to Hancock)

I feel like to believe in soul mates, you'd have to believe in fate, which I don't.
