I have not ever bought a Rabbit. There are several reasons for this. I am not all that crazy about the "rabbit" part, as I have a Clit O Steel and I have no idea if I could achieve orgasm from it, or would it just get in the way. Also, although I love the idea of beads in a toy, I have some reservations about the strength.

Today, I went into a brick and mortar store and messed around with some of the toys I had never had a chance to play with in real life (at least with my hands.) One of the issues, which I hadn't thought of before was the strength of the rotating beads and PC muscles. I know my own PC muscles are at least as strong as my hand when I put it into a hard fist. All the rabbits I tried with my hands, bar none, had problems with the rotation of the beads, when I closed my fist around them. The "loose bead" toys seemed much worse, while the ones with beads on tracks seemed to fare MUCH better. I do regular Kegals and use my Smart Balls all the time, and I just wonder if I do decide to spring for a rabbit, if the beads will not be able to be used, due to the flexing of my PC muscles.

Has anyone else who has tried a rabbit type vibrator had a problem with their muscles stopping or at least slowing down and grinding the beads? Really, the beads are the thing that attract me to some rabbits (that and the rotation.) I am pretty sure the butterfly or rabbit ears would pretty much be a bust for me, but I don't know if it's even worth the expenditure.

Maybe I'm just not a Rabbit Girl.

Anybody else with strong PC muscles and a High Orgasmic Threshold have a good experience with Rabbits? Or are they really more for women with more sensitivity and less PC strength?

I know a LOT of women like them, I'm just wondering if they are just not the right toy for everyone, and I should just give up on trying to find the "Right" rabbit for myself.

Yes. The Triple Orgasm Orange was my first rotating rabbit vibe. The beads are on a track, but they definitely grind to a halt when I contract my PC muscles. This is annoying, but not horrible since the rotations aren't enough to bring me to orgasm anyway. For me, the beads heighten sensation and help me get close(r) to O. So, when my va-jay stops them, it's not that much of a loss. The only straight-up con here is that stopping the beads during their rotation is bad for the motor, which is forced to over-exert itself. Ah, well. Really, the rotations are a cherry on top but something I could easily live without

I personally don't care for rabbits myself, this being one of the main reasons. Hell, I don't even have to squeeze and the beads don't work!

I have had the Waterproof Jack Rabbit, it was a bad experience overall but I was able to come clitorally with it- and I have a clit o steele myself. I also think the experience was due to the fact that it was my first toy, and I had no idea what I was doing. I would try it again now that I have more experience...

I also tried again recently with the Double DAre 4 Play, and that one really sucked for me... lol . I think about trying again here and there.

I would say don't knock it until you try it; look good and make sure you get a decent one. Don't spend an arm and a leg on one because most are expensive and don't work that well.

This is all from personal experience and based on what I have read/heard from others. I think it all depends on the person, and maybe you will get lucky and find one that works for you Good luck!

My wife can stop the metal beads on the track of her Decadent Indulgence - but she's learned how to squeeze enough to enhance her pleasure without causing the thing to grind to a halt. Just because you can stop it - doesn't make it necessary - the idea is to enjoy.

There are a ton to try - and I'm pretty sure you'll find one you like - but it can be expensive at $85 to $125 each - I don't recommend the cheap ones. You want at least 4 AAs for power and it helps to have the clit portion have a little play to get it into the right place. Some of the clit vibes are close-coupled to the shaft - that doesn't work for my wife.

You know the drill - find some reviews from people that you have something in common with - read them with a critical eye - and take the plunge!

I would reccomend using one with the beads attached to the shaft. I personally have had great experiences with one particular rabbit vibe, the rabbit ears were enough to get my hitachi loving clit of steel off, I can't remember what it's called but it said something about cupid on the packaging.

I have the Decadent Indulgence 2, and It's my favorite rabbit style vibe, and I have several. That's one of the things I include in most the the videos that I do for rabbits... squeezing my hand around the rotating shaft. Most rabbits will either stop or become really loud and grinding. The Decadent Indulgence 2 is the only rabbit that has made me squirt, and It's got strong metal balls that are on a track, so they don't stop, but they do slow down and the toy becomes a bit loud. I have had this thing for about 5 years now.. and it's still going strong. It's a bit pricey, but I have never had any luck with super inexpensive rabbits, but that's just me.

Oh and I almost forgot... the rabbit is really, very powerful.. I need alot of clitoral stimulation and it gets me every time.

Thanks to you all, ladies and gent! I have been reading a lot of reviews (since before I even joined Eden) and am still thinking about the purchase. Sometimes I have a hard time making decisions. But, one of the problems with strong PC muscles is that they often contract when I am not consciously doing it. As I get closer, things seem to clamp down, which is great for My Man, not so great for moving parts in a vibrator.

The input is great, thank you all again. I'm still thinking on the butterfly/rabbit ear part. I mean, I need a Hitachi or a Wahl to get there, I've felt those little ears and gone, "Uh, cute, tickly, I don't think it's going to get me there." To have a good orgasm I typically use it "wrong" (not there's many wrong ways to use a sex toy!). I don't know if it would work for your body, but I can push the bullet against my clit if I angle everything right and grind against it everything goes well.. Sorry for the graphicness of that, but if it works for someone else, well great! The tickly ears are not quite enough usually. (One of the reasons why I love my Ina so much.)
I have a rabbit with and without the tracks, i definitely prefer the one on tracks but I've still slowed it a bit.

I watched the review for the Waterproof Jack Rabbit and the lady in the review showed that she had clenched her fist around the beads and they kept moving... unfortunately, when I tried it out, my PC muscles were clenching and caused them to slow down a lot. This isn't good when you're lacking control of those muscles!

I'm not too disappointed, but it was a bit discouraging that the woman doing the review wasn't as strong as my PC muscles!
