It's not meant for insertion. There are 3rd party attachments you can buy to put on the head of the Hitachi that are meant for insertion, however, such as the Gee Whizzard.

Yeah, the Hitachi is definitely too broad for me to use it comfortably. I prefer a more focused sensation.

I don't think the size would be a problem so much with a little creativity I think it would get a bit heavy after a while though.

It's big, but I don't think it's meant for insertion-- mostly for clitoral stimulation, in which it wins all the awards because holy hell it's wonderful. If you're worried about hiding it, just put it in the back of a drawer and you'll be all set!
