Year of the rabbit...vibe?

Linga Linga
Hi all,

I've been thinking about getting my very first rabbit vibe for awhile and then today I realised that 2011 is the year of the rabbit! Coincidence? I think not!
So I had a scroll through all of EF's rabbit vibe, WOW there are a ton!
My question is this... Which one do I choose?
So if any of you awesome people could let me know which ones you like best and maybe why.. It would really help out this rabbit noob!

We've had the original Decadent Indulgence for over 5 years and my wife still loves it. The 4 AAs provide enough power (3 AAs are not enough), the rotations are strong and the butterfly clit vibe is flexible enough to find the right spot.

Only complains is that it's not waterproof - but honestly 5 years and still going strong - has to be a record!

The Vr6 is fantastic. I gave up on rabbits after my bad experiences with Ina and the Calla Lilly, but Vr6 has turned out to be incredibly good.

Choosing a rabbit vibe can be tricky. It helps if you're really familiar with your anatomy and preferences. If you look at the MANY different ones out there, you'll see some have the bunny (or dolphin/butterfly/what ever) positioned high up along the shaft, which would suit somebody with a pretty shallow G-spot, and some have it further down, closer to the handle/controls, which would work better for those who like deeper stimulation. Also, the angle of the clit stimulator will vary, and some are flexible enough to be repositioned slightly. Even then, there are a lot of women for whom rabbit vibes don't work because they can't find one to fit them.

Another issue with a lot of rabbit vibes is that the power of one motor (usually the shaft rotation) is often compromised when the bullet/clit stimulator is on the higher settings. This may not be a big deal for you, but it can be frustrating for those who like a lot of power. Take a look at the pearls/beads, if there are any. Some have lots of loose beads that pop around as the shaft rotates, while others have larger beads on a track, and still others have fixed beads on rotating arms. All of these will feel different.

Also, some rabbits (like the Evolved Honey Bunny) don't have a rotating shaft, but rather a vibrating one, so that's yet another thing to take into consideration. One more thing to look at is the bunny's ears. The softer materials will really flap around, which some people LOVE. Consider where your clit is. Longer ears will do a better job of reaching a clit that's positioned higher up.

I should say that I'm not necessarily recommending any of the rabbits I've linked to--it's more to show an example of what I'm referring to. I like my Elastomer Rabbit Habit. It fits me well, hitting me in all the right places. It has a few drawbacks, like the shaft motor slows when I rev up the bunny, and it's not waterproof, but it's good enough to get the job done for me. I also like that the dual motors have independent controls. That's another thing to look for.

I like my Elastomer Rabbit Habit, too. However, I agree with pretty much everything in this post, especially the points about how rabbit vibes tend to be tricky, anatomically-dependent beasts. Not that they AREN'T worth experimenting with, since once you find the right one, you'll be in heaven.

Brilliant post by buzzvibe up above. I agree as well... rabbits are among the "trickiest" type of toy to buy because they either hit all the spots just right and are bliss... or they are uncomfortable, ill-formed pieces of technology that sit in a box never to be used again after a couple failed and frustrating attempts. Unfortunately most of the better rabbits are fairly pricey so to even try and see which work for you is a fairly expensive process.

Too bad you can't take a model of your individual bits and have the rabbit custom designed to fit each individual.

I have been looking at the Ultimate Indulgence - great to know the Indulgence you have holds up so well.

My request has just been accepted for the Little Kiss rabbit vibe. It's not grand like some but it will allow me to see if it's worth spending up near $100 for the one I really want. I'll let ya know how it goes.

If it gets anywhere near 40 C down there like here at times and you don't have aircon, I would stay clear of Elastomer toys. They WILL melt! Been there.
I was rather disgusted considering the cost of them so I never want another one unless I move somewhere cool.
