Well designed strategy! I never had any hang ups about talking with my kids about sex, but if I was one of those millions that did, your approach seems very likely to be as effective as one could expect.

Maybe I'll try it out on the grandkids.

But now you've got me thinking about playing park the car in the garage.

Excellent article! I don't have children, but I am a firm believer in accurate, honest, comprehensive sexual education. My parents avoided talking to me about sex at all costs. I was fortunate that I was the kind of child who like to learn independently, so I sought out my own answers. I also had comprehensive sex ed in school. I know quite a few girls who had neither the benefit of parental advice or school education. It didn't turn out so well for them.

Thank you both! I am a HUGE advocate for sex education. I think it's irresponsible of any society not to educate their children about sexuality. It truly is the essence of life. I don't understand how you can sweep it under the rug as a parent. But SO many do. I have friends that have daughters and they REFUSE to even think about discussing birth control or safe sex because they feel by doing so they condone the act. Insane to me! Thanks for reading it guys!
