I did that once. I bought a rechargeable remote control egg, only to find that when the egg was inserted the remote control didn't work at all...even when I had the remote right up against my body. before I actually inserted said egg, I tested the range, it worked even when each part were in opposite ends of the house. The most depressing part was that I dropped almost 100$ on it, when I found a 30-40$ egg at my local shop that worked better.

it was a total waste of money, it still sits in my night stand collecting dust.

I read reviews for the most part but sometimes what doesn't work for one still works for another so either or its hit or miss

Reviews are one of the things I love about EF. I have made purchases before without reading reviews and was disappointed to find that others had the same issue. Now I never buy without reading reviews unless it is a new product. Ryanne is right though, you need to evaluate the review. Sometimes a reviewer may rate a product low because of their preference (size, intensity, material) or experience level. Don't go by just one review either. I look for trends.

Yeah made that mistake of not reading reviews before EF. Much happier now.

In the past, yes. Now I do read reviews before I purchase a product, but there are times that I've found the reviews to be wrong. For instance, awhile back I purchased a toy that had received almost all negative reviews. I was sure it would suck, but I was so curious that I had to have it. Lo and behold, I loved it.

I just did this a couple weeks ago. I've been wanting a suction cup dildo for awhile now so I just happened to check out an adult store near me and I found one on sale for like $34 and it seemed perfect "super suction" blah blah. Nope. I wish I had read reviews. It sticks perfect. Until you touch it. -_-
So needless to say, it's pretty useless for suctioning. And it actually sucks to use as a normal dildo too. It's like too bulky in the wrong spots and just, not fit for a vagina in my opinion. So, there went $34 lol. Always always always read about the product!
