Deep throating wasn't that bad for me. I just naturally don't have much of a gag reflex. Anal, though, is a totally different story. I'm still trying to get used to the thought of it! I used to have anal sex with a previous boyfriend, and that was hard, but my current guy is a lot bigger. Anal is usually easy enough for me provided that I'm properly warmed up but I suppose I'm still learning to enjoy it consistently, because the enjoyment doesn't always happen. Deep throating though...that's anatomically difficult. I suck at just about all activities that require me to breathe through my nose...no pun intended.

I have a strong gag reflex but deepthroating worked for me once I discovered the best position for me (lying on the bed, with my head over the side and my partner standing). Anal was and is great since my first negative experience w/o lube.

I haven't given deep throating any practice because 1) it's profoundly uncomfortable for me and 2) I give a great blowjob as is and I don't feel any particular need to add this one to my repertoire. Anal was challenging at first, and then became VERY difficult due to an injury I sustained while rushing and not listening to my body. These days I've healed and anal is still a little challenging, but as long as I take my time and warm up it's very enjoyable.
