Strap on tips please!

Shesasexybrat Shesasexybrat
Hey everyone,

I just got a strap on and have never used one before. I found that I am quite lost in what is the best way to start out with this. I have used it a couple of times and always find myself worn out quickly or feeling completely awkward. Any tips or advice you can give a girl who is exploring stroking?

Am accepting tips for male and female partners with the strap on.

Oh and for more specific info on which product and my experience thus far it is in my reviews. Stroking 101

Position is important for me...I want my feet on the floor...so much easier to thrust. My partner is usually lying on the edge of the bed on his back with his knees against his chest. Also works is with him bending over the back or side of a sofa works well if the height is right.
I need a stable harness that rides low (Aslan Jaguar or Spare Parts) using a dil with a wide base (Leo) on most Vixskin toys to hit my clit as I thrust.
Practice thrusting alone to develop a rhythm.
Enjoy!!

Position matters, but so does the choice of dildo to use with it. Looks like the one you got with teh harness is more or less straight. If you buy a dildo like This, you might have better results as it naturally gives a more upward curve. Last time I checked, a erect penis naturally is pointing more upward, not straight out. This angle will help make your thrusts more" efficient" and natural, meaning you won't be as tired.

I would say try a new dildo out and see if it makes a difference

Curves in the dildo also help it go in more easily when used anally (also make it more stimulating).

You might want to try a position where you can hold onto your partner or otherwise "brace" yourself against something so the whole of your thrusts are devoted to moving the dildo rather than moving yourself backwards or otherwise having to use your muscles to support yourself.

Note that your dildo isn't 100% silicone - it's a TPR and silicone mix. You should use condoms if you're going to be moving between the anus and vagina or between partners.

Also you might want to play with the positioning if your harness is adjustable in the legs. A lower dildo moves more with each thrust and can also be more stimulating to the vulva, or you might like a higher mount. The dildo doesn't move as far, but when it's braced against the mons pubis some people feel it's more "solid".

Practice pelvic thrusts and push ups, esp if you use a missionary position (I find this gives a gal more friction) With women I attatch a vibrating cockring, and I tend to use a longer dildo than I would use with a man. (because 8 inches goes way past the P spot, and the colon has a bend in it, the vagina is straight. I use longer dildos for heavier partners. And positioning aids. The quality of the strap on is very important! The snugness, flexability, and where the hole for the dildo is located is important. Material and coolness and easiness to clean is important. If you are a beginner, I find it easier to come in doggie style. It takes less agility and strength, and it gives decent friction.

Thank you all so much for the tips so far. Plan on trying out the positions and tips while I await my new accessory. Keep any tips coming I can always use more information on things I don't know much about yet.

I have the same issue of wearing out quickly in some positions. I have fibromyalgia so I don't have lots of "get up and go". Alternating positions after a few minutes works well. I do love thrusting while above my partner kneeling. That one I wear out quickly though. I intersperse it with lying flat on my back, making him do all the work, and the more common, easy to control position - standing at the edge of the bed with him on the bed on his knees. I add in the doggie style strap and use it to pull him by the hips back towards me. This works REALLY well.

I'm having trouble too with my strap on. Almost every time I use it, I hurt my partner and I really don't know what I can do to make it less painful and more pleasurable
