This Die Will Make You Scream, All Right

The Screaming Dice does not perform as expected. The material is sticky and collects debris, and the die is not put together well. While it can be used to play with without the noise and lights, those features are a large draw of the die. The die will not light or make sound without hitting it with immense force against a hard surface.

This was probably the biggest disappointment I've had with adult games. After finding you had to really whack this to get it to emit lights and sounds, I thought maybe smashing it into the floor a lot would somehow loosen it up and cause it to work. All that accomplished was to make my arm tired and to ding up and mar the surface. Then even smashing it against the floor stopped working - the battery had died.

While this could be played without the lights and sounds (and we did a few times), it's really those features that add a bit more fun. Making this work with less force, as well as a replaceable battery would make this much more useful and fun.

    This made me laugh a lot. It's amazing how often all of our dogs get to "assist" with the sex-toy testing. Ours thought that the most recent butt plug really should be her chewy. Oops.

    Just curious--when you did manage to get it to work, what kind of sounds did the die make? Did it play a tune? Did it just make annoying screechy noises? Also, would placing it on a table and then slamming it with a text book produce the same effect as hurling it into linoleum floor? Thank you for the awesome review on a shoddy product!

    The sounds weren't at all what I was expecting - they reminded me of video game sounds - short and electronic. I don't know if slamming it with a text book would work - it might, if you hit it hard enough Smile. I am going to have to find a suitably heavy book and give that a try Smile
