Hearts of love by Cal Exotics

I was surprised to receive this item so soon and thrilled that it was something different to try out. I am not a novice at anal play though I am definitely no expert either; the Hearts of Love looked to be a good sex toy to play with.

At first glance this is a cute and innocent looking object. It looks sweet and romantic enough to put in a romance gift basket or a basket for a bachelorette party, bridal shower, or honeymoon gift. True to its name, The Hearts of Love by California Exotic Novelties has pink hearts adorning this smooth crystal blue jelly plug and it looks so cute you don't realize it is a naughty sex toy until you look closer; realizing it's a butt plug. This has to be one of the most unintimidating looking butt plugs that I've seen. Some look so scary an anal beginner would never go near it.

The Hearts of Love Butt Plug with its smooth texture and graduated curves may be a good choice for a beginner because it is non-threatening and not too large. One may think by looking at the base of the plug that it does get really big, but it is more two dimensional than three; so it is not as big as it looks. Another good thing about the Hearts of Love plug other than the way it looks and its smooth texture is the suction base. If you want to stick this to a chair or something, it isn't moving. Once it is stuck to something it is staying put until you want to move it; which is really good because when using anal toys the last thing you want is it to move when it is not supposed to. That could be painful.

I think I would have liked this sex toy better if the graduated curves had been more rounded instead of flat. Because it was more two dimensional than rounded (a more 3D feel) it was not as comfortable going in or coming out. Thank goodness the suction base stayed in place while in use or the shape of the graduated curves could have caused some pain. I think there are other anal toys out there with better and more comfortable designs, but everyone is different and I'm sure someone would really get off on this shape and design. The Hearts of Love was enjoyable since I enjoy anal play and it was satisfactory enough to get me hot and get me off, but it could have been better.
