The Gold Laced G excels at every task I've set it to. The texture shines in vaginal thrusting or in anal, and the gentle curve can give the g-spot a treat. So I'm going to give a shortened version of the "Glass is amazing" spiel, and let the bulk of my review tell you why, after deciding you want a glass toy, the Gold Laced G is the glass toy you want.

Borosilicate glass is firm, body safe, allergen-free, and holds temperature (hot or cold) well. It is easy to clean and care for, is much more durable to impact and to temperature shock than run-of-the-mill silica glass (though it is still slightly vulnerable to both), is compatible with any conventional or unconventional lube, is beautiful, and, most of all, it feels amazing. There is no give, so you can squeeze as hard as you please and your dildo will hold firm. This inflexibility makes textures very pleasurable, and the Gold Laced G's texture is the single best I have encountered.

The Gold Laced G is slimmer than the average dildo, and the gold lattice is raised 2-3mm. The gold piping at the edge of the glans is more pronounced, and combined with the groove at the tip*, this feels like the glass equivalent of a circumcised penis as you glide it in. While the tip is nice, the latticework is absolutely divine! As I slide the dildo in, each ray of raised gold wrings more juice out of my g-spot. When I first saw the pictures of this dildo on EF, I was enamored. As you have found my review, I assume you've fallen into the same passion. The Gold Laced G is inarguably beautiful, and it looks just as pretty in real life as it looks on the site (though of course it looks best under bright light). It is definitely prettier than this "Gold Laced Polish" hen, which I assume is the Gold Laced G's namesake.

The curve of this dildo is perfect for me. Many glass dildos I can only use when lying more-or-less flat on my back to keep them from poking the back of my vagina. The Gold Laced G feels wonderful when I'm lying flat, and just as wonderful if I'm sitting, or halfway crouched. I have not yet found a position that's uncomfortable. The 2.5cm diameter might sound a bit slim to the advanced user, but the texture more than makes up for slimness. For a new user, the slimness might be an asset, because the texture can be enjoyed without making the dildo uncomfortably thick.

I really like the look of the Gold Laced G's base. The offset oval is in just the right place to simulate testicles slapped or pressed up against me. Unfortunately, the dildo is about an inch too long for the base to make contact with my skin. My Gold Laced G is 16.1cm tall when standing on its base, and I can insert about 13.5 cm. Once the glans of this glass dildo makes contact with your cervix, you simply don't want to push it any farther. This is probably better overall though, because the length gives me enough space to grip and thrust with, and I would not want to miss thrusting this exquisite texture.

In just the few short days I've owned my Gold Laced G, we've done nearly everything together. Borosilicated glass could not be simpler to care for. A mild soapy rinse between uses is fine for a single user, and if you'd like to sterilize it for a partner, it can be bleached or boiled.
