Luxotiq anal plug - butt plug by Luxotiq - review by Saraid

The Luxotiq glass plug is the definition of a luxury anal toy. It’s well-crafted, comes in a beautiful box and is made of a beautiful deep blue glass that is such a pretty color anyone would love it. The plug itself is medium in size being about 1 3/8” in diameter and 4 1/2” in insertable length. This is my first glass plug so I was both incredibly excited about it as well as nervous.

I want to address the material since I know before this plug I was rather nervous about having a plug made out of glass. While the neck is thin, it is very sturdy and any worry you have that it might break while you are using it should be put aside. It’s made of Pyrex glass, which is the strongest glass there is, so a little wiggling around isn’t going to shatter your pretty new plug. The material also makes it possible for you to use your lube of choice with your toy as no kind of lube will interest with glass and cause it damage.

When you get the plug it’s presented in a pink and white box with “Luxotiq” printed across the top in script. Inside the box, in addition to your plug which sits in white satin, you’ll find a pink cloth and a small business card with instructions on how to clean your toy. I was very satisfied with the presentation of the toy and the box is small enough that you can keep it and use it easily for storage.

The plug itself has a lot of positives and just a few flaws. The first positive is that it is incredibly stimulating because it’s a hard material. Just about any normal activity will give you a ton of stimulation – bending over, walking, jogging, jumping, etc. I was very surprised as how stimulating it was and because of this only left the plug in for a few minutes because it was distracting me from getting anything done at all. I usually leave my softer plugs (silicone) in for a couple of hours, but if anything was to get done this one had to come out. I personally think that is a plus for people who want a lot of stimulation with a plug.

The main flaw is that for me it is not comfortable to sit down. This is not because of the base, which is quite comfortable, but because I’m not used to sitting down on a hard material. I didn’t include this as a con in my video because I assume it will vary highly from person to person. It wasn’t painful to sit down, just over-stimulating. So if you like an incredibly stimulating plug, you have found it. However, you may want to read other reviews to see what other people thought of the sitting down dilemma. To sit or not to sit?

As I mentioned before, I was very surprised that I liked the base as others have found it to be irritating. I’m assuming since a small amount of lube got down to the base after insertion it kept any irritation from happening. If you have had a problem with round bases in the past, you may want to give this one some thought, but I have nothing but good words for the base of this plug.

If you don't have any glass plugs yet, I would recommend the Luxotiq. It's beautiful to look at and to use and is also a great size for people looking to move up from the beginner level.
