Spellbound - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by ScarletFox

The Spellbound by Cal Exotic is meant to be a G-spot vibrator; with the way the head is tipped it can also be used as a clitoral vibrator as well. The stainless steel columns of balls on the outside of the toy are used for extra texture and stimulation, which when kept in a cool place really allow you to feel them. It is only about 1 1/4" in diameter so it is good for people who prefer more size. However it is in no way discreet because of its appearance and size coming in at 7 1/2" (6 1/4" being insertable) It has three speeds a low, medium and high that are all easy to switch between via the simple click of the button at the bottom of the toy.

This toy is easily used alone or with a partner, however the tip is slightly short and small so it is best for those who already are well aware of their G-Spot. The toy is waterproof, so it is easy to take in to the shower/tub. The only downside about the speed I could find was that at its highest speed it is rather noisy being able to be heard from under the covers with the television on in the other room. So this might not be the best toy for people with roommates or anyone who is trying to be discreet.

It is made of plastic and stainless steel, so that makes it non-porous and phthalates free. While the plastic has a very smooth velvet feel to it when running over the skin it is hard as a rock, which made using against my own G-Spot rather painful and was actually what turned me off from continuing to use this toy myself at least internally. The stainless steel balls were by far my favorite part of the toy. The extra stimulation that they added would have been more interesting I think if they were along the whole outside of the toy rather than just near the base. But because of where they hit, I found they not only stimulated my clit slightly but also the outside of my vagina. I think anyone who likes texture would find these enjoyable as well.

As for clean up, you need to have the time and patience to do it. First you have to remove the G-Spot Tip, then the clear gasket holding the balls in place. Finally the balls can be removed to be cleaned but I found them to be very well stuck inside, so when I cleaned it a few went flying. The plastic and be cleaned with soap and hot water, or any toy wipe. The steel balls you can be ran through the dishwasher or cleaned with soap and hot water.

The packaging was a simple plastic clamshell with the name of the toy and information on it. While it’s not discreet, the woman on the cover was actually much more tastefully posed and clothed the ones I have seen in the past.

While I did not find that this toy worked for me as a G-Spot Vibrator what so ever, a little trick of fate lead me to find it wonderful in a whole other way. After reviewing it and clean up, I tossed it into the bed room to put away later. It got tangled up in the sheets, so I missed it as I got into bed but my feet soon found it. As one toe pushed into the button to click it on, my other foot was happily massaged by the low vibrations coming through the balls as they rubbed against the bottom of it.

I have really bad foot pain from standing all day at my normal job, so the relief intrigued me. Sitting up I started to run it over my feet, the balls making quick work of the pain in my arches and the tip of the toy getting the edges and toes. I started to run it all over the sore parts of my body adjusting the speed based on where and how much tension I had.

Needless to say, while this has not become my go to G-Spot Vibrator, it has become my go to personal massage.

I attempted a few more times to try this toy for its intended means, but alas, it has stayed the same in my toy box. I pull it out after a long day at work and use it to make my feet feel better after standing on them for 8 hours or more.
