These reactions degrades the material, breaking it down and making it unsafe for further use. The only option when this happens is to discard your toy and get a new one.

Water based lube is the only safe lube to use with this material as well. The silicone and oil in other types of lube also work against the material breaking it down and rendering it unsafe. It is also easier for clean up.
