A Weighty Subject

Beauty over functionality definitely applied here for me. Though weighty and beautiful, I could not get these clamps to stay put!

Use

These clamps, though almost plain in appearance by themselves, transform into something incredibly beautiful when they are put on. I would even be inclined to say that they are quite possibly some of the sexiest clamps I have, in terms of how they look and make me feel when I am wearing them.

Unfortunately, for me, that beauty does not translate into functionality.To simply put it, they do not stay put. At the slightest tugging, they slid right off. So I tightened them down more and they still came right off. I tightened them all the way, as far as they would go without rocketing a nipple across the room; thinking surely they would stay put then. Not in the least, right off they came. Frustrated, they were tossed to the floor for the evening which, I am sad to say, happened every time I tried to use them.

In a moment of innovation I clamped them to my labia, which I will say, looked incredibly sexy. They also stayed attached longer there, even staying on as I swayed around, feeling the light tugging sensation caused by the heavy chain swinging. However they still did not stand up to tugging, and slipped off with a light, pleasant tingling sensation left behind.

I bought these clamps thinking they would work for larger nipples, which I have, but they do not seem to at all. Perhaps they would work better for someone with smaller nipples than mine. Overall, I think these clamps are good for beginners as they are quite gentle and for those looking for beautiful clamps that make you feel sexy.

Material / Texture

These clamps are solidly built from high quality metal that does not lose its color, nor does any finish peel off. The chain is the perfect length to allow it to drape beautifully without tangling. I also noticed that the chain is attached to the clamps with substantial rings that are properly closed. I did not have to worry about them scratching my skin, or the chain coming loose, because a ring bent, which can be a problem with cheaply made clamps. I love the feeling of cold things running across my bare skin, so my husband likes to take them by just one clamp and run the set over my skin and over my breasts slowly. The feel of the smooth as silk chain, coupled with the fact that it it a little thicker than some chains (so it holds the cold longer), feels incredible.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

I cannot say enough how beautiful and sensual this set of clamps made me feel. They made my nipples stand up proudly, with a chain of just the right length to give a sexy drape of metal between my breasts. They are more substantial than the average set of clamps, so they tug at your nipples or labia just enough to remind you that they are there. They are fully adjustable and open up quite wide, but are capable of closing down so tightly that they can nearly hold a sheet of paper. The clamps were easy to remove. For me, just a tug and they popped off, no matter how tightly they were closed.

Care and Maintenance

Care and maintenance of this set of clamps could not be easier. They do not tangle, so you do not have to worry about storing them any specific way. I keep mine pooled in the corner of a drawer.

Personal comments

I am glad I own these, even if they do not stay put for play. They look incredible, which makes me feel sexy, which is part of having fantastic sex. If I don't feel hot, my sex is not going to be so great. I look at them as costuming, or mood setting, just as I view things like negligees and fuzzy stilettos. Sometimes the function is solely appearance and for me, these clamps are part of that.
Follow-up commentary
Now that I have come to view these clamps as more of a piece of jewelry, and pretty, rather than a BDSM tool, I have grown to like them more. They just look HOT. My husband's favorite way for me to wear them is simply the clamps, a thong, and black patent leather knee high boots. They are substantial enough to prevent you from looking like you were just simply distracted while getting dressed, and they really drape more beautifully than any of the other sets I have. For aesthetics alone, I think I would be inclined to purchase these again.

Agreed...They sound like they'd be perfect if they would stand up to some play! Then again I like a good strong pinch to my clamps but for sexxyness factor these sound tops!

I have larger nipples, so that may be why. I have read some reviews that say they stay better than any others they've tried and some where they say, like me, that they don't stay on. The price isn't too bad, if you really like them, I'd still give them a try.

I'm thinking an addition of some nice rubber glued to the insides of the clamp area may fix the "not staying on" issue. These look gorgeous.

      Try reading the reviews.. These things are subjective - what may be best for one person won't necessarily be best for you.

      You didn't seem to get as much out of the clamps as Red, though after her review these are the top of my EF purchase list for my wife.

      With the slippage you mention, I think the Clover type clamp may be what you want.
