Have you ever wanted to take your sex life to another level? A level that might be somewhat taboo or even a little frightening? What about if there was a product that could offer sensations that you have never experienced? What if I told you there is a product line with endless possibilities? What if that line of toys changes your preconceived thoughts and feelings of what a sex toy should be? Well, I'm about to introduce you to the ePlay Basic Set.

The ePlay Basic set includes the e-stimulator and a set of electrode connector pads. This set is for those that want to try something a little new. Perhaps a toy that might even be considered
a little extreme or intense.

Like you might be feeling, I was not sure if my wife and I would enjoy this product. I wasn't sure if I would find it pleasurable. I mean the concept is nothing new. You can buy all sorts of muscle relaxing kits like this one, but when you begin to think about the possibilities in the bedroom, the sky really is the limit. Especially when considering there are all sorts of ePlay accessories that can be used with this kit.

Eden Fantasys offers a lot of options to add to your e-stim tool box. A tool box that can not only bring you new sensations but maybe even a few relaxed muscles.

I will talk more about the material and design of this ePlay set in the next section, but the toy is made of plastic. The wires and ends of the electrode connectors are made of plastic as well. The pads themselves are sticky and rather adhesive to the skin.

The overall design of this toy is pretty basic. The control box is made of black plastic, which is a food-grade material and hypo-allergenic. The box runs off of 2 aaa batteries and has 6 buttons and a turn dial for the controls. (I will talk about the different modes in the performance section). The control box is 4 inches in length and about 2 1/2 inches wide. The size is perfect to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. To be quite honest, though, the box does feel a little cheap. I was expertly a bit more weight than 2.8 ounces. If you aren't careful, I could see where it could break. Also, the buttons fill a little flimsy. With that said, the control does its job, and for the price of other comparable toys, it cannot be beaten.

In addition to the control box, you will find a set of electrode connectors and 2 reusable pads. The connectors attach to the pads, which will, in turn, provide the sensations.

Like I said a little earlier with this line of toys, once you own the basic set, you can easily purchase other ePlay accessories to use with this kit.

The controls on the box include the power button, tap mode, vibrating mode, massage mode, auto mode, speed and the turn dial for intensity level. To turn on or off, simply press the power button once.

Next, I will talk about different modes:

- Tap mode has equally spaced sensations with the same intensity (like tapping a finger.)
- Vibration mode is more constant where the intensity varies slightly.
- Massage mode is fairly intense, and the sensations are longer than tap.
- Auto mode is a preprogrammed set of sensations (my least favorite.)
- The speed button controls how fast or slow the sensations occur.
- Finally, the turn dial controls the overall intensity level.

To use this set, ensure that you have the intensity dial turned all the way down before turning on the power and placing the pads on the skin. Also, if you or your partner have a heart condition or pacemaker, do not use this product.

After removing the pads from the paper backing, you will notice that they are rather sticky. Ensure that prior to placement the skin is clean and preferably hair free. This will not only keep your pads in good shape, but you will get the most out of the toy with a good connection. Consider using a small amount of water-based lubricant for a better connection.

Once the pads are in place, you can then turn on the power button and select your mode of preference. After that, you are ready to SLOWLY turn up the dial to the preferred intensity level. It is absolutely imperative that you have good communication with your partner if you are controlling the intensity levels. You do not want to go too fast and ruin the mood by going beyond your partner's pleasure level. Ultimately, start slow and low to familiarize yourself with the controls and settings.

For me, I do feel a slight pain while using this toy. I mean it isn't unbearable, and really it's more of a tingling sensation. To be honest, after you settle in, the new sensations are quite pleasurable. It's unlike anything I have ever felt before. Both my wife and I prefer to have them be placed on the inside of our thighs. And we both enjoy the tap and massage modes the most.

In regards to intensity, both my wife and I have never went past a mid-level intensity. The toy does have a pretty good range of intensity levels, which should allow you to find your right comfort level.

The nice thing about e-stim toys with pads is that you can also use it just about anywhere on your body for sore and tired muscles. With the right placement of the pads, muscles begin to flex and relax, where you almost get a bubbling sensation.

As much as we love using the ePlay basic set, there is one small drawback while using the pads. Given the size of the pads, it's rather difficult to get localized sensations. My wife wanted to position the pads, where she could get more pleasure directly to her clitoris. Because of this, we will look to add to this set and buy another ePlay accessory. And at this price point, adding to your basic set is very affordable.

Cleaning and storage are rather easy. A simple wipe with a toy cleaner and you are ready to go. Make sure to store in a cool, dry place and take care when repositioning the pads back on the backing paper.

Packaging for this toy was pretty minimal. The control came in a plastic bag and included a small instructional insert.
