I really wasn't sure what I was expecting when I got this. My friend was really into e-play, but I was quite skeptical. Honestly, I was also a bit nervous.

Seeing the product for the first time, I didn't feel quite as anxious. I think I really played it up in my head, but this looks more like a kid's toy than anything devious. It was a bit underwhelming and looked a little bit cheap. I didn't have much in the way of expectations when going into this.

The first time I turned this on, it was as a test while on a video call with my partner. I popped in the batteries and stuck the pads on my forearm just to see exactly what it would feel like. At the low levels, it was like a tingle. Turning it up even a bit more it caused my muscles to pulsate slightly. A bit more and the sting started happening. It was so 'shocking' (I'm so sorry) that I actually made the weirdest noises. I HATED it at first. I didn't like how I was out of control of my body until I realized that this was one of the things I loved about being submissive with my partner. In a controlled setting, I knew this toy would be invaluable.

Even more so, this has proved invaluable out of the bedroom. I have a spinal condition that makes the muscles in my back sore and tense. I've used this on my partner as well but we have limited time together, so we didn't get to explore it much. I'm hoping that we can explore it a bit more the next time they come over. They didn't seem to like it as much as I did, it kind of made them uncomfortable. I think the pads by themselves are also a bit too static and are good for medical play, but not great for getting hot and heavy. There are more attachments that you can buy that would work much better in the bedroom. I would love to try some of them out.

There's only really one way to use these pads, so I'll focus on the sensations. One of my favorite things about this toy is the fact that it has several settings, and you can adjust the strength separately. I love using the vibration and massage settings for soothing sore muscles. For play, I prefer using the tap. It's very sudden and gives a little jolt of pain and makes you twitch all over. For strength, I haven't really gone that high yet. I guess in a way, I'm still a bit scared of the machine, and it can hurt a lot (which is good). I do have a lot of fun when you go high enough to make your muscles twitch and contract. It's playful torture.

I never really reached orgasm while using this toy, which is probably for the best in my case. My muscles already tend to contract to a point of pain when I cum, so having more influence on my muscles may actually injure me. But it is super fun during foreplay.
