Plushy gear ankle cuffs by California Exotic

These ankle cuffs are exactly what I was expecting. Simple and soft fabric, a bit of Velcro and decent closures and clips for bedroom bondage. You probably won't see anyone using these in your local dungeon but that doesn't mean that they don't work.

I tried these out in a variety of configurations and they seemed to hold up quite well. The attached clips can hook onto a variety of things like a hogtie attachment, bits of rope, or each other. When clipped together on a standing bottom, they create an interesting hobbling effect (be sure to stand nearby your bottom if you do this to them so they don't fall over!). I also used them along with some rope attached to the bed frame to do a standard spread eagle position.

The fabric is cushy and plush just like the manufacturers promise and washes well. I chose not to put them in the dryer and air-drying left them almost like new. Of course, most people don't manage to make messes down to their ankles anyway and I washed them mostly to see how they would hold up. If your ankles are getting dirty while you're playing, I say you are doing something *really* correctly!

These cuffs are also quite big so they should fit people of a variety of body types. They could be used on wrists or ankles and may even fit over some people's forearms or calves for interesting variations on classic restraint positions. We tried them in a variety of ways and while the cuffs might slip from some of these positions, you can definitely be creative with them because they have Velcro enclosures and are made of soft, flexible fabric.

So, while these aren't hardcore cuffs for serious or load-bearing bondage, they are great to comfortably create a restraint point on your bottom's ankles or wrists.
