Japanese bondage rope by Doc Johnson - review by CookieMonster

I was a bit hesitant at first to try the Japanese bondage rope because I myself am new to the world of bondage. This being my first bondage rope I really didn't know of any other uses for it other than tying someone to a bed. Oh boy was I wrong! Along with the Japanese Bondage rope the package includes a small guide showing simple techniques for tying sailor knots. A great way for you to begin getting used to the rope and actually making the knots.

I first began by running my hands and fingers over the rope feelings its texture. Because the rope is made from cotton the texture was very soft and smooth like an old worn t-shirt. I fiddled around with the rope tying and untying simple knots and loops then decided to move on to more advanced hand securing knots.

My partner wanted to try a more advanced body knot, so after a little research from the internet I was being bound in ways I could never have imagined. Many different knots could be used on myself because I am a smaller female, but I found that more rope would be needed to tie different, more intricate knots on my male partner who I would consider to be larger than the average male. Because of this I suggest you buy 2 sets of rope just to be safe. My partner and I then wanted to see if the rope would be long enough to tie to each post of our four post bed but unfortunately it was too short to secure me at all fours. Another reason why I suggest getting 2 sets of rope. 32 feet of rope seems like quite a lot but I found that it actually wasn't. Smaller knots or hog tying would be great when using this rope but actual body bondage and restraining at the same time cannot be done because more rope is needed.

In all I found that the simple task of making the different kinds of knots and loops began to stimulate both my body and mind at once making my experience with the rope quite pleasurable. With that being said I decided to give the Japanese bondage rope 5 stars because it is such a great product and a wonderful addition to anyones collection. The rope is very smooth which doesn't cause chafing making this an all around great experience and product.
