This rope is definitely great for beginners, but would be also be okay for someone who is more familiar with BDSM. Someone new to BDSM/restraints would probably look at the product info, see the length of the rope, and think it sounds intimidating because it sounds like a lot! Which, it does. But it really isn't much once you get into working with it. Odds are, you'll find yourself wishing you had more. If you are just looking to do some simple arm or leg binding, or a little bit of body work, there should be enough rope here. If you are looking to do more intricate or elaborate rope work on someone, I suggest you get something else. This would also be good for tying someone to something, if that is what you had in mind.

The rope itself is very comfortable to be tied up in, as it's not rough or coarse. Being bound in this is about as comfortable as being tied up can get; I know that makes sense to plenty of you! For the price, you really can't go wrong. If you are new to restraints, rope, and/or BDSM, this is definitely a great place to start! I would recommend getting a book or doing some research online to find some fun, easy rope techniques to make things more exciting, and get used to certain knots and all of that. When you get it, you should tie the ends, so that it doesn't fray and get messy. Because of the material, you should not try to burn the ends.

It sounds like it would be a big pile of rope, but it really can be contained really well and is really easy to store. You could keep the packaging it comes in, if you wanted, or even just keep it in a box or drawer. It's easy to wrap up and put away. In terms of cleaning, you can wash the rope by hand, maybe even throw it in a lingerie bag in a washing machine on a delicate setting. I think line drying would be better than putting it in a dryer. I mean, hey, if you really want to be discreet, the rope could even be the clothesline!

I like this rope, and get a fair amount of use out of it. When my partner's in the use, we'll take this out. It's nice, and the color is vibrant and pretty. Though, I recently got another rope that was silkier and slightly longer, but I like them both. But I will say, that one is growing on me.
