The design for this rope is pretty good in terms of quality, but there were certainly not enough options for colors to pick from, and if I wasn't going to pick black anyway, I would be severely disappointed. What about green, orange, yellow, pink, blue, white, beige, brown, violet and the many other colors out there? Only red, a very ugly shade of purple, and black are available, and for rope this good there should be more colors so that more people will buy this good stuff.
As for the design of materials and craftsmanship and such, this rope is pretty great. Quality is definitely there, and this rope can be used to hold a lot of different types of ties for restraint and for aesthetics, definitely.
I was disappointed that the ends of the rope were not sealed or tied, so I had to tie them myself so that they won't fray. I was going to burn them, but a couple of reviews I read did not recommend it. So I decided to just go with tying the rope's ends.
I know that this rope is very well made and I do expect it to last a long time, especially if I take care of it the way I'm supposed to and the way that the little booklet that was inside the rope's packaging suggests. The material is soft cotton, and it feels tight yet soft. It fits well when tied right, and any user could use this rope, from seasoned veteran to humble shy beginner!
