Leather leash - collar by Spartacus - review by leatherlover

A leather leash is a nice addition to a bondage play scene. I purchased this, along with the Spartacus leather sheath, to allow my wife to lead me around by my penis. It was a lot of fun using this the other night, and my wife put the leash over the dresser handle to keep my from running away. A leash can also be used with a collar to lead someone, or to bring them closer to you. If you do use a leash with a collar though, and plan on pulling it, please only do so from in front of your partner, so you don't crush their wind pipe.

The leather leash is made out of a single piece of leather. The leash is 4 feet long and .5 inches wide, including the swivel hook on the end. The swivel hook rotates 360 degrees, and is secured by a single silver looking rivet and folded over piece of leather leash. When you pull the spring down, it allows an opening of .25 inches into the hook. At the other end, is the handle which measures almost 7 inches long. It is easy to fit my rather large hand through the handle. The handle is formed when the single piece of leather is folded back over on itself, and it is secured with a single silver looking rivet. There is a very faint leather smell to the leash, but to smell this I have to stick it right under my nose. On one side it is a nice, smooth finish, where the other side is a little rougher, almost unfinished.

The leather leash worked just as expected. It fit easily onto the ring of the Spartacus cock sheath, and it was not too heavy where it pulled my cock down. It fit comfortably in my wife's hand and was a nice length. If desired, you could loop the leash through a ring or handle, then secure it to your partner so they cannot escape. You could even use the handle end of the leash as a whip, and in my small experiment of whipping my arm, I couldn't even feel the rivet. I was even trying to hit myself with it, and I still couldn't do it. Or I was and I just didn't notice.

If for some reason you get some fluids or dirt on your leather leash, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth, or use a small amount of mild soap. After this, you should just let it hang dry, do not try to use a cloth to dry it. On occasion, you might also want to use some leather conditioner on it to restore the natural shine that a nice piece of leather has. Currently for storage I just rolled it back up and put it in a drawer, but I plan on somehow hanging it up after I move in the next month and a half.

The packaging couldn't get any simpler if they tried. It came in the standard small Eden USPS box, with a leather sheath. It was in a small plastic bag, about 3 by 3 inches, with a small label on the front of it. No instructions were included, and I am going to be recycling this bag.
