When I bought the Fetish Fantasy Series Shock Therapy Kit by Pipedream I already had an idea that I would like electroshock play. I wasn't prepared for how much I would like it. As amazing as it was, however, I knew that eventually the adhesive on the pads would either ball up and be useless or just stop being as sticky. The shock cannot be delivered easily if the pad doesn't have direct contact with the skin and can lead to arching, which is way more painful than the toy is intended to produce.

This was the major drawback to the whole kit as I stated in my previous review. I noted that you could find these types of pads and even replacement adhesive that you simply roll onto the back of your older pads at any health prosthetic store but it is quite likely to be very expensive. Now the fact is the original pads are sure to last through a dozen or so applications, but this number decreases sharply if you have to adjust and re-adjust the pad during use.

Pipedream has solved this issue, I am ecstatic to announce, by releasing their Fetish Fantasy Series Shock Therapy Replacement Pads. WOW that's a mouthful! These are pads made to be used with your Shock Therapy toy and take all the guess work out of the whole process.

The original kit has 2 leads requiring 2 pads on each lead for a total of 4 pads used if you want to use both leads. The replacement pad kit comes with 12 adhesive shock pads which gives you 3 total changes. This should last the average user for quite some time! I use my machine a couple times a week for both erotic play and simple muscle relaxation and I still have yet to need a replacement pad though it's getting close. The lead terminals are not included in this replacement kit so be sure to take good care of the original leads provided with the kit.
The pads clean easily with either commercial toy cleaner or a soap and water wipe. I, personally, avoid immersing them in water and have found a damp wash cloth to be all that's needed.

I always take the machine completely apart to store it. The pads come in pairs in a small plastic baggy with a zip lock top. Between the sticky sides is a slip of plastic. To store them I simply attach the pads to the strip of plastic and slide them back into their baggy. This keeps dust and debris from accumulating on the sticky surface and helps them last as long as they can.

You should keep a watchful eye on the state of stickiness of your adhesive pads because an ill-fitting pad can lead to a painful arch of electricity. The pad should be seated firmly against the skin while the kit is turned on. This might require a bit of shaving if you have naturally hairy skin, though you can get it to stick properly it is easier on hairless skin.

It is entirely possible to store the replacement pads in their original box as it is pretty darn sturdy and fairly small. It'll tuck into a sock drawer or bedside table with ease.
