Sportsheets has definitely hit a home run once again with their continued innovation. The Suction Handcuffs are a special delight for use in the bathtub or shower. These cuffs are made of neoprene and are well built. The suction cups are large and can really hold up to some heavy tugging. The neoprene material is rugged, but soft; which helps to reduce any risk of chaffing. Even though the suction cups are strong, there is a piece that sticks up on each of them for the person being bound to easily release him/herself should the need arise. The straps are Velcro and hold up well when wet. The straps are stitched into the neoprene cuffs. The cuffs are 2" wide and give a nice secure feeling and do not pinch the skin. The nylon loop that holds the cuffs to the suction cup is double stitched and the loop actually goes through an opening at the top of the cup. This proved to be a solid design. To clean this toy, just use soap and water and make sure soap is all rinsed off and then let it air dry.

I tried these gems on a few different smooth surfaces and found that they held strong to all of them. (including wallpapered surfaces) The first use was on the headboard of my bed. On my bed, I used them as ankle cuffs. I finally found a female partner that is into strap-on play with men and she placed the ankle cuffs on me and then pulled my legs over my head and attached the suction cups to the headboard so that she had easy access when pounding me with her strap-on. The cuffs were comfortable on my ankles and actually made the experience more enjoyable since I didn’t have to work to keep my legs over my head.

We then moved to the stand up shower and she placed them on my wrists and did me standing up in the shower. I offer one word of caution in the shower or tub. With a wet surface, the suction cups will slip around a little if you tug too much and you could end up slipping and falling in the shower. Rough play is fun, but make sure you are being safe so that you can continue to play with these cuffs.

For those new to bondage play, this is a good beginner toy to try out. The appearance of the cuffs is not intimidating and may help a new player to feel more at ease with trying out this fun way of play. I have subjected these cuffs to 3 weeks of heavy use and there is no visual evidence of the materials breaking down at all. Give this product a try and add a new meaning to fun in the tub.

These cuffs have really added to my sexual play and made things more interesting, fun, and enjoyable. Knowing that you are securely bound, but able to release yourself if you need to, adds a sense of safety and well being during some good old fashioned bondage play.

These little beauties have gotten plenty of use since I reviewed them nine months ago and they are still in one piece. The neoprene wrist cuffs are still soft and have not broken up at all. The suction cups are still holding quite well. I have used these in the shower, tub, and my headboard of my bed. The only difference I have noticed in the material is that the black color has faded to a gray just a little. Fun toy indeed.
