DJ and I enjoy quite a bit of
BDSM play. I am personally into making most of our gear at home (belts, zip ties, bungee cord-you get the idea) but I could not resist the idea of having one kit made for me. So, I ordered the
Hog Tie set by Whipsmart.
Now, assembling a DIY hog tie is no easy feat, so we welcomed the opportunity to just strap up and roll.
No such luck.
DJ is the natural dom, so he set about his task of applying these restraints. The neoprene was comfortable, and he applied the ankle cuffs with no problem. I was geared up and ready for a good thrashing, but my mood was very suddenly altered.
DJ leaned over me and strapped the first restraint around my thigh.

That is the sound velcro makes when you pull it apart. The cuff would not secure.

Again, it pulled apart.
We kept trying, ad nauseum, only to be graced with that noise over and over.
Now, I am NOT a big woman. Curvy, yes, but not overweight. I have very muscular legs and the straps meant for the thighs did not fit completely around my hamhock. They would barely touch, secure for a second, but as soon as I flexed my hamstring, it popped open. We moved it a little lower on my thigh, but the hog tie effect was lost.
Good restraints should be easily released, but still allow you to struggle a bit without popping open. I was not a happy girl. The scene would have been over, but DJ rigged some of our own stuff up to it and made it work. Good thing we are creative.
We can find some way to use this puppy, but I have to say I was disappointed it couldn't make me squeal without adding a few extra straps.

Cock Wrangler-Ha! Therein lies the possible dilemma. Perhaps I am missing a part?? Mine only has a thigh cuff attached to an ankle cuff.

Betty- thanks! From the description: "The Hog Tie consists of two pieces. Each piece has a nylon thigh cuff which has the ankle and wrist cuffs attached to it." So these are actually meant to have all three attachment points... but it's hard to see those from the pic. Maybe another case of an off description, or updated (not improved!) product.
Cock Wrangler (i still lURVE your name)-I think they were meant for thighs and ankles. The size of the cuffs were way too large for the wrists and did not adjust well. I think it was meant to assemble the lower half of your body into one unit so it could be easily manipulated. A real hog tie set would have three points of restraint, wrists, thighs, and ankles. But, what can you ask for only 20 bucks
These cuffs are actually designed to go around wrists and ankles (for a true hog-tied effect), not thighs. That might be why they didn't fit... Maybe they'll work better that way?
