Love mask - blindfold by Pipedream - review by kitsuneyouko5

This is meant to be a blinder so one cant see what your partner is doing. It enhances the experience for some. I think it doubles as one of those nifty sleep masks ya wear when your trying to sleep in.

Made out of satin with what I believe is nylon thread stitching and stretchy loops to hold it to the head. Its big enough to fit most people if not all and cut in a way to sit comfortably on the face without catching on anything.

When we first tried this out we weren't sure what to expect, a previous mask we'd used fell apart within a few minutes of use. This one was a pleasant surprise. Its soft and flexible and easy to put on and doesn't pull on ones hair (we both have long hair). Its not too tight so as to be uncomfortable, but tight enough that it doesn't shift or fall off even if you use it as a sleep mask. We used it as intended for a blindfold for some sensual feel and guess. Basically one of us wore the mask while the other used or did things and the masked one had to guess what item was being used. It sounds cheesy but it was a lot of fun. And when a couple has young children and you manage to eek about 2 hours alone together, taking the time to play a bit makes the little time you get more worth it.

This piece is made of fabric so one could just toss it into a machine to clean it. I personally wouldn't unless it got really bad. We clean ours in the sink and air dry it. I'd recommend air drying regardless of if you put it in a washing machine or not. Elastics tend to wear out quicker if put in dryers.

The packaging was essentially an envelope with a clear front. Not worth keeping but this isn't something that should stay in its package when not in use for fear of damage.

We really like this thing, have even used it as a sleep mask when one of us can manage to catch a nap during the afternoon. I personally love it when I've got a headache as it totally blocks all light!

We had nothing but good times with this. And plan to have more! Its a simple addition to our box but still nice to have.
