At first sight these cuffs seem innocent enough, with pink accents and a soft exterior. However once you put them on you quickly find out that they aren't so soft. The velcro that lines the interior is very scratchy and has even cut skin with a lot of resistance. They do hold up well to a lot of wriggling and writhing though, which is a strong point.

To get around the harshness of the velcro I decided to turn these cuffs inside out, so to speak, and the results were quite pleasing. Since the exterior is made of a foam-like substance it was much more forgiving on my wrists while maintaining all the strength of wearing them normally. Kind of makes for a dual purpose set I suppose, one for when you're being good and one for one you're being punished :P

I will note though that you'll want to keep an eye on these bindings because they are very easy to get out of if you have small hands. Unless I'm hooked around something substantial I can easily reach over and let myself out (good in certain situations but not all). A shorter connector would have prevented me from being able to do so, or smaller rings - either way shorter length between cuffs.

The package these cuffs came in was pretty standard, just a cardboard box with some printed info and a girl in the cuffs. Nothing special and not something I personally held on to (recycled!). There is no special storage instructions for these so long as the velcro isn't placed near anything it's going to ruin, which can be avoided by simply keeping them in the "closed" position while storing.

You can hand or machine was these cuffs, though hand washing may be better for the life of them. Just don't wash them with other materials unless they're in the "closed" position (again so they don't snag the other things in the washer).

I view this as more of a beginner set but it can work for anyone.
