Trojan ultra ribbed condoms - male condom discontinued by Church and Dwight - review by EnChAnTiNg

Trojan ultra ribbed condoms. Many women will read that heading and think that using a ribbed condom is going to be fantastic! That's what I did. I went to the store and stared at all the condoms in the aisle, racking my brain over which condom I think would be the best. So, after staring at all the selections, I chose the Trojan ultra ribbed condoms, thinking that they would add to my pleasure. Wrong!

My husband and I were using condoms only because we had just had our first child, and I had just gone back on my birth control, so we needed to have a back up, just in case! So, after slipping on the first condom, it snapped almost immediately. The condom split right up the side. We tried another one, and this one did not break. I could not even feel the texture of the condom, it made absolutely no difference.

I am not saying that this is a bad condom. We did have one break, but the other ones in the pack were just fine. My main gripe about the condom is that the texture did nothing. I was hoping to really feel a difference, and I did not.

My other complaint was that the condom was not lubed enough. In my past, I always used Durex condoms, and I never had any issues with them. From what I can recall, they were much more lubed, and made insertion much easier. It seemed like the Trojan condom dried out very quickly, which was a bit irritating (both mentally and physically).

My overall opinion of the Trojan ultra ribbed condom is that it is just okay. For women who are very sensitive in the vaginal area, this condom may be very pleasurable for you, but for me it was not. If I am going to use a condom, this is not the one I would choose.

I have not used this condom since my first review. Unless they have improved the style, the ribbing is a joke. It gave me no added pleasure. I did not feel the ribbing at all. Durex makes a much better ribbed condom for roughly the same price. I would go with the Durex one instead of this one because it has much more texture to it.
