Trojan ultra ribbed condoms - male condom discontinued by Church and Dwight - review by MysterX

This condom has a noticeable ribbed texture. I bought the item originally for use on a rubber toy since rubber is a porous material. The ribbing adds a little bit of a nice texture, but not enough to make it over-the-top ecstasy or cost more than a regular condom. I tend to be sensitive to texture but it didn't provide that much extra stimulation. I would not necessarily consider this ultra ribbed. The ribs are very small, thin lines of ribbing, not terribly pronounced, which may be part of the problem. It does add some extra sensation for the one on the receiving end, but not a whole lot.

These condoms seem to be rather thin; they tear very easily. I have used other condoms and these seem to be the easiest ones to accidentally tear. You have to be quite careful with them. The thin material however does allow for a more natural feeling during intercourse or play with a toy and is most likely more enjoyable for the wearer as well. One problem with traditional, thicker condoms is the potential to dull sensations down for both the wearer and the receiver. This is not a concern with the Trojan Ultra Ribbed Condom. Just be careful and use a little extra lubricant before putting it on and you should be good to go without having tearing issues. I found lubing up the toy before putting the condom on stopped tearing while putting it on. They tend to want to tear at the bottom with vigorous toy use.

They are lubricated, which helps significantly with initial penetration. I would suggest use of a secondary lubricant with this toy as it is prone to drying out rather quickly. A sizable amount of the lube rubs off as you are trying to put the condom on.
