Pleasure swing review
The Pleasure Swing is definitely a fun toy to add to your collection if you're a little on the adventurous side. The higher weight limit allows it to be enjoyed by people of size, and it is really extremely comfortable.Published: April 10, 2008

I purchased the Pleasure Swing as a compliment to the Universal Sex Swing stand I was able to review. No point in having a stand without a swing, right?
I chose this swing over the others available because of the higher weight limit; both my hubby and I are on the large side, so I wanted something that would stand up to our combined weight.
The swing is comfortable and well-padded, with a comfortable seat strap and an equally comfortable strap to go across your back and hold you in. It also comes with leg stirrups, which we sometimes use and sometimes don’t, depending on what you’re doing. The straps are so comfortable, in fact, that I often sit on the swing and just, well, swing while I’m talking on the phone or chatting with my husband after work.
The swing was a breeze to hang up on the sex swing stand. It features a large spring with a hook on it, and it was just a matter of placing the hook over the holder on the stand—15 seconds, tops.
The swing swings freely, though it does not rotate much. It also faces the horizontal support bars on the sides; I would prefer it if it faced the other way, towards the open ends of the swing. My hubby would, also, as it would save him a konk or two on the head from time to time.
The straps are easy enough to adjust, though it works a lot better if you get out of the swing before attempting it. They are very versatile, though, and can accommodate my 5’3” frame as well as hubby’s 6’2” frame comfortably.
My only real complaint about the Pleasure Swing is the covering. It is covered in a faux leopard-print fur, by far not my favorite pattern. Still, this is a small complaint and doesn’t affect the function of the swing at all. I would much rather deal with a less-than-ideal cover pattern than a swing that doesn’t have the functions we were looking for.

Just wanted to report this is holding up very well, even under my weight and that of my husband! It's starting to creak a little when you use it, but some oil will probably take care of that when I get over being a lazy ass. I still think this swing is very comfortable, especially since I have back problems. I often (as in, every day!) even use it to sit in while talking on the phone!

Hmm, I'm not sure to be honest. I would suggest submitting a support ticket or calling to ask about it. Customer service can often give you a pretty good idea of when something will be back in stock :)

I see on the product page for the Pleasure Swing that under "required" it says "add universal sex swing stand". This might be a stupid question, but as I've never owned a swing before, I'll ask it anyway: does it require the stand or is that just a recommendation?

It does not require the stand. The stand is optional. If you are okay with screwing into your ceiling, then you just need to purchase the swing. If you don't want to screw into your ceiling, then the Sex Swing Stand makes it so you don't have to screw it into the ceiling. That make sense?

Fun! Much better than the over-the-door kind. A friend has one of those and we looked so stupid in it that we took pictures - and not the good kind.

Bulma, thank you for your lovely comment! This product *is* so much fun, I definitely think everyone should try one! There are a bunch of pictures decorating the box, but my swing did not come with any instructions or suggestions, except a white sheet printed with brief mounting instructions.
I would love to have one of these but I have a few concerns,first my body feel's bruised almost everywhere,you see I have Fibromyalgia so I worrie that the straps would apply pressure to my tender points. If Fibro weren't enough I also have two ruptured disks in my lower back that also pinch a nerve,so anything that has the potentual to throw my back into spasms scares me bigtime!

Thank you, Minxy! I've got a bad disc in my back as well, and I actually find this can help relieve some pressure on my back in some positions. As for the Fibromyalgia, that might be a concern; the straps are cushioned and comfortable, but you can still feel them.
I do want one of these so badly. I know you use yours with a stand- but a stand isn't an option for the amount of space we live in. A hook put into a beam in the ceiling is an option. How adjustable is it for height? We have 8 foot ceilings and my boyfriend is 5'8". Is there a way to adjust how far it hangs from the ceiling/stand? Thanks in advance!
Beautiful Dreamer - You can't adjust how far it technically hangs from the ceiling, but you can adjust the height of the seat, backrest and the length of the stirrups. Also, the hook from which it hangs is fairly long in itself, so I don't think you'll have any problems. If you get one, happy swinging!
We went stud finding yesterday!! I'm very excited. We decided because of the price that we'll buy it towards Christmas as a gift to ourselves. I can't wait!!
