Pink candy Minx - sex toy by ASLAN Leather - review by Owl Identified

The new Pink Candy releases from ASLAN Leather are, in a word, irresistible. So much so that I absolutely had to have a Pink Candy Minx upon its release...like immediately upon its release. I loved the style of the original Minx harnesses, but couldn't justify splurging when I had a gorgeous (and very comparable) Jaguar from them. But the absolutely stunning and truly unique princess pink of this new Minx was enough of a differentiation for me to take the leap.

Good people of Edenfantasys, this harness? It is wonderful.

One of the first things that struck me about the Minx is that its sizing is rather different than that of the Jag and other similar ASLAN harnesses. The Minx will not fit everyone, but I think it's one of the most curve-friendly pieces from this company yet. Previous ASLAN releases come in one of two sizes, and Eden typically stocks the smaller size (26" - 44" hips). While the Minx will not fit all hips, it certainly will work for a larger audience - and for larger hips. The Pink Candy Minx will work comfortably for sizes 30" - 60". The straps are a bit long if you're on the petite size (I am), but this is easy to fix with a pair of sharp butcher scissors. (Make sure your scissors are sharp enough to give you a nice clean cut if you trim the straps; this harness is WAY too pretty to damage with a rough cut!)

The lacing in the back is a big part of what makes this harness so successful for so many body types. It, much like a corset, is actually adjustable and not there just as a feminine accent. If you so choose, you could replace the provided nylon lace with a longer one (if you find yourself a bit over the 60" mark) to better suit your body. The lace is quite long in the first place, though. Again, you may wish to trim this if you find yourself with too much slack string. If you do, make sure you seal the ends with a reliable clear nail polish. The nylon string will unravel until it is no more if left unsealed.

Similar to the Jaguar, the Candy Minx has a frontal high bikini-style cut and a rear dual strap design. This gives the wearer a lot of room for skin-to-skin contact, which I love. As much as I enjoy a harness as an accessory or garment, the feeling you get when you forget the harness is there at all? And it's just you and your partner? It's quite wonderful. The Minx not only treats your partner to quite a visual, but let's you feel as physically close as possible. It is a decidedly showy cut, though. If you prefer a harness that covers a bit more, the Rodeoh is a great option.

Unlike the Jaguar, the Candy Minx does not have an adjustable strap design that allows you to slide, position and even "combine" the straps to make a G-strap style back. However, the Minx does have an innovative leather panty-liner. I know, I know: a leather what? While the precise intention behind the leather panty-liner is a bit mysterious to me, I have found there are a few distinct advantages to it. Often with other harnesses - dual and G-strap - during play sessions, I would (naturally) become aroused and wet. No problem there, except that cleaning bodily fluids off of leather can be a bit of a pain, especially when it gets into the stitching. The panty-liner here is made from leather, so it's still a bit of a bother to clean. However, the upside is that you have body fluids confined to one (out of sight) area, so that the general appearance of the harness is not affected.

The other huge plus is that it's excellent for keeping a dildo or butt plug in place for the wearer. I absolutely love this, because it creates a seamless connection between what I'm doing (thrusting) and the pleasure I'm enjoying (by jarring the plug or dildo inside of me as I move). The only downside to this liner is that it does get in the way with a double-ended dildo like the Realdoe. Luckily, I tend to use double-ended toys out of a harness, but if you use them with harnesses often then this may not be the option for you.
