Hard as Rock
As with any Tantus toy, Hank is a high quality, pure silicone toy that can satisfy yet provide some discomfort. He's one big guy when used anally with a veined texture along the shaft and a slight ridge at the head. While Hank's hefty diameter may feel satisfying, the stiff silicone may please some and leave others with a bad experience. Anally, Hank is hard as rock and almost feels like one, too.Published: February 6, 2011
Pros:
Balls act as flared base and handle; Thick diameter provides fullness; Looks and feels real
Cons:
Silicone is too firm, inflexible, and rigid; Texture may be uncomfortable anally

I decided to give Hank another try after not using him for over a year. I've been playing with larger dildos than Hank lately, but the silicone on these toys is much softer. Regardless, their diameters were much larger than Hank's, so I felt confident in being able to handle Hank easily.
Hank wasn't a completely smooth insertion. The hard, round head still proved difficult to insert at first. As I felt the shaft slide in, I was reminded of the hardness of Hank's silicone. It was easy to maneuver the dildo since I was prepped, but I still did not enjoy the bumpy texture along the shaft. Removing the head again felt uncomfortable due to the ridge.
Although I still did not enjoy Hank for our little reunion (twice actually), it did prove to me once again that softer dildos at larger sizes are much easier to accommodate anally, especially since I tend to enjoy rough thrusting. Tantus' O2 Mark is a comparable dildo to Hank. They're both a similar size, length, and diameter. However, Mark is constructed out of a super soft outer layer of silicone. His head is also super squishy, making Mark significantly easier to handle while being exceedingly pleasurable at the same time.
My conclusion: if you're looking for a realistic anal dildo at this size, skip over Hank and choose Mark instead. He's definitely worth the extra dough.

hank's squish factor?

How much give is there in the silicone for Hank by Tantus? Is he as squishy as the regular Tantus dildos or is he more firm, less firm?
-
Firmer than the regular Tantus dildos.

Tantus Hank

I would say I'm intermediate at anal stimulation. Lately I've been using the Tantus Acute (1.25 inches diameter), which I really love. Now I want to try a larger size (1.5 inches in diameter), and I've been looking at the Hank dong since it looks very realistic. Would the Hank be a good choice for a larger dildo?

You can boil it, bleach it or toss it in the top rack of your dishwasher.
I like Tantus silicone because it has a good amount of give, which for me, would be a plus when starting out with a new, larger diameter toy for anal play.
It looks like Hank also has a good wide base so really, I can't think of any reason not to recommend this to you if that's the size you're ready for. Go for it! -
I don't know why, but I started thinking about how funny it would be if this dildo was called the Tantus Bocephus. That is really cracking me up at the moment :)

Hank dong realistic dildo

ChatoI would prefer something for anal and vaginal. Would the Hank be a good dual purpose dildo? -
PospersQuote: I would prefer something for anal and vaginal. Would the Hank be a good dual purpose dildo?Yes, Hank is great in the vagina and the ass...assuming that you have some ass experience. -
This is a good choice for an advanced anal user. Hank is a little bit above average size and if you are a beginner or even intermediate user in anal play I wouldn't recommend it. It is always better to use smaller size for anal play like Happy valley realistic (AL0320STVB) which is thinner. If realistic shape is not a must than Mistress (VXNMP) from Vixen Creations or a Boy 1(B1E01PU) are good options. With all of them don’t forget that toys from anus should never go to vagina without proper cleaning and disinfection which is a breeze with silicone toys!
