The Goddess arrived at my house just prior to the weekend, a perfect time for a try out. I was super happy to see that my Goddess was a beautiful glittery purple. I am a big fan of glitter; while it doesn't add to the functionality of a toy, it is aesthetically pleasing. Form and function, baby; that does it for me every time.

Because the Goddess is hollow to allow for the insertion of a small bullet vibrator, it feels a little lighter than other dildos. I didn't feel that this was much of an issue. I did have a minor problem with the bullet. Unlike Essin' Em who also reviewed the goddess and couldn't get hers to turn on, I couldn't get mine to turn off once the batteries were inserted. I put the bullet into the base, holding the dildo in my hand, accessing the vibrations. They were stronger at the base than at the tip which is nice because it stimulates that sensitive area around your vaginal opening when fully inserted. I like to start by teasing my inner thighs and labia and the gentle vibrations at the tip, combined with the soft, silky feel of the Goddess were perfect for that. Pushing ahead and inside, the ridges rubbing against the walls of my vagina, I let it just rest there a moment to absorb the vibrations. It was nice but I typically prefer vibration on my clit more than inside me.

This prompted me to remove the buzzy little bullet vibe from the base and use it on my clit. Score! With the bullet providing the perfect amount of clitoral stimulation and my pussy filled with the Goddess, I was bucking and quivering my way to an amazing orgasm in minutes. Done, I had to remove the batteries to get the bullet to stop vibrating. Use caution if this happens to you; they were surprisingly hot to the touch.

In order to provide a fair assessment, and not because I am a horny slut I assure you, I tried out the Goddess again the next day. Unfortunately, it seems that the three watch batteries used to power the bullet slowly buzzed way to a hum and then to silence after that bout. I'd say in total that the batteries lasted maybe an hour. Note to self: Next time, time trials. I do love that the vibrations from the bullet were quite strong, but it's a pity that they have such a short life span.

The Goddess is meant to be a strap-on dildo. Alas, I have no dildo harness. Perhaps that should be the next item sent for review. Either that or I am going to have to get together with Essin' Em. All in all, I give the Goddess high marks for combining attractiveness and utility in one well priced sex toy.
