This dong is designed for solo use, but could be used with a partner as well. I found myself dreaming up all sorts of fun scenarios the moment I opened the box.... Well more like, the moment I realized it was sticking to virtually everything I could come up with. It stuck to the wall, the closet door, the actual door, the cupboards, the counter in the bathroom, my coffee table, Book covers, my thigh (it didn't stay there long), the bathtub, the tile wall in the bathroom and my headboard. If you can dream it, you can probably do it with this dong. The flared suction cup base allows it to be used safely for anal play as well.

It is made of a soft skin like material; I was actually very surprised at just how lifelike it was. When you drag your finger across it gently, it almost looks like skin. However, this is a very porous material which means it can collect and absorb bacteria easily so this toy should ideally be used with a condom (especially if used anally).

It is a softer, more squishy material so it is very flexible, which may cause difficulty when inserting anally.

As a bonus, however, it is both Latex and Phthalates free, and it's waterproof!

The Play Things Dong is made of Pure Skin(a mix of PVC and silicone), which has a very realistic, slightly velvety texture to it. This material is fairly squishy, which makes the dong very flexible. It is probably best related to a mostly, but not entirely erect penis.

It has a mild odor which was not washed away the first few cleanings. However, it was not distinctly unpleasant and you have to put it right up to your face to get a good whiff, so you aren't likely to smell it from across the room.

It is important to use only a water based lube with this material, as anything else can cause damage or breakdown of the chemical components.

This dong is realistic both in size and shape. Admittedly most men do not come equipped with a suction cup base on their penis. I really liked both the length and girth of this. With a 5 1/2" insertable length, and a 1 1/2" diameter, it is neither the longest, nor the girthiest, dong around. However I found that the girth was quiet adequate for my body and the length made for easy G-spot stimulation. The veins are not prominent enough to make a noticeable difference, but the testicles added a bit of extra stimulation; especially when turned backwards so that they can be felt against the clitoris.

The size of this dong would work well for both beginners and advanced users alike, however if you are a size whore, you may want to look elsewhere.

The only problem that I have with this design is that the suction cup is made of the same material and because it is so flexible it can come unstuck with a lot of vigorous movement.

The suction cup on the Play Things Dong will stick to anything and quite well, but you had better be ready to stick it back on there when it falls off. When I first started running around sticking this dong to whatever I could find, I was really impressed. It seemed to stick onto everything, and stay put. However during use, I had to restick it to surfaces about every 5 minutes. I think there are probably surfaces that are optimal for this toy, I just haven't put it to use against them yet.

This is a material rated very low on the safety scale. It is extremely porous and can accumulate and hide, dirt and bacteria easily, so it is a must that you wash this before and after each use with an antibacterial soap or cleanser. It is also recommended that you use a condom with this toy to prolong its lifespan and minimize exposure to bacteria.

As an added measure you should also dust it lightly with cornstarch (not TALC which has been linked to cervical cancer), after each use in order to keep the surface of the material from becoming tacky. I would recommend storing this in a toy box of some sort to keep it away from dust and dirt.

This toy was packaged in a plastic box which is recyclable, but would not hold up to use as a storage container. There were no instructions and the box boasts that this toy is maintenance free, though I don't see how constant washing and dusting of a toy could be considered maintenance free.

It does however recommend that you always use a water based lube for maximum pleasure, which I suppose is better than nothing.

Regardless of its flaws, I am in love with this toy and will continue to use it for some time to come.
