The Bubbly is a rippled glass dildo made by SSA Glass, a company known for their beautiful and inexpensive glass designs.

Because it doesn't have a flared base, the Bubbly isn't safe to use anally, though you could probably put one of those "vibrator enhancers" on it to make it anal-safe if you wanted to. Aside from that, though, this dildo should only be used vaginally.

The Bubbly may not be the best option for beginners to either penetration or glass or both, because it's somewhat girthy at 1 1/2", so someone new to glass or penetration might accidentally hurt themselves with this toy. Someone with more experience being penetrated and using glass toys would have no problem with it, however.

Like all SSA Glass toys, the Bubbly is made of borosilicate glass, otherwise known as Pyrex. It's a very safe type of glass that's extremely solid and practically impossible to break. (You should still inspect your glass toys for chips and cracks if you drop them, because you don't want to risk injuring yourself, even if the risk is tiny - but I've never had this happen to any of my glass toys.)

Glass has no taste or smell. It is naturally cold to the touch, like steel, so if you're not a fan of that cold feeling, you can warm up your glass in advance by putting in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes or even just sitting on it for a little while. You can also take advantage of the coldness by keeping the toy in cold water for a few minutes before playing with it.

Glass also responds very well to lubrication, because of how nonporous and smooth it is, so you may only have to use a few drops of lube with this toy - and if you're naturally very wet, you may not need to use any at all.

The Bubbly's texture is all about ripples. I am a big fan of glass ripples and I think they feel great. These ones are just about perfect: they're girthy enough that they massage my G-spot very nicely during thrusting, but not so girthy that they hurt.

The Bubbly's design is really simple, but seeing as I love glass ripples, that's just fine with me!

I find that a lot of companies try to make ripply glass toys fancier or cooler by making the ripples variable in size, adding a curve, etc., and it just isn't necessary. Ripples feel awesome all on their own, if the girth is right - and in this toy, it certainly is! 1 1/2" is the perfect diameter for my vagina, I've found. My G-spot is very pleased with this toy.

The Bubbly is 6" long, 5 3/4" of which is insertable. The other 1/4" is the very slim base, which you could actually insert too, if you vagina was long enough. I can almost, but not quite, get this entire toy inside of me.

That's actually one of the things I don't like about it: its shortness and lack of a proper base sometimes make it tricky to hold onto and thrust with. I don't strictly need to insert it all the way, but if you like very deep vaginal penetration, this might be an issue for you.

Overall, I think this toy's measurements are quite lovely for an intermediate or average player, or someone who's experienced with penetration but isn't a size queen.

This toy is definitely not discreet. It is very clearly a dildo. But it sure is a beautiful one!

As I've said before, I am a big fan of wide glass ripples on my G-spot. This toy has perfected that design feature, to the point that I'll probably never buy another glass rippled toy because I can't think of one that could possibly do it better than this.

As with many glass toys, the smoothness of the material sometimes makes the toy hard to hang onto, especially when it's lubed. That, coupled with the toy's shortness and lack of a flared base, makes it a bit tricky to keep a grip on sometimes.

Glass is super easy to care for. You can wash it with soap and water for everyday cleaning, or you can boil it, bathe it in a 10% bleach solution, or run it through your dishwasher to sanitize it. I also use toy-cleaning wipes from time to time.

SSA Glass toys always come with a lovely red velvet bag, which I really appreciate - especially because even bigger companies like Pipedream neglect to include storage options with their glass toys.
