This was my first glass dildo. What in the world was I waiting for? This toy came in a pretty satin bag, which is a really good way to store it, as the bag will prevent you from scratching or damaging your pretty, pretty toy. The Rainbow G is made of Pyrex glass, which is an amazing material. Not only is it fairly unbreakable, but if you did break it, you won't be covered in glass pieces; it would stay in one or two big pieces. But that would be a bummer, since this is such fun to use.

It doesn't take much lube of any kind to make this super slick. Because of the glass, your favorite lube is acceptable, no matter what kind it is! Another great thing about glass is that it is easy to wash; soap and water, or boiling or just about anything that suits your needs. However, always remember, use condoms when sharing!

While I mostly stick with realistic vibrators, I just couldn't resist when I saw the Rainbow. It had the shape, the size and the characteristics I like best. OK, so not so much the girth, but certainly the length. The twist at the tip, along with the nice bulb end hits the g-spot juuuust right. The nubs on the shaft are big enough to feel them nicely, and small enough not to hurt. The bumps and ridges on a silicone or rubber dildo are one thing, but on a hard glass toy, bigger is certainly not better. And these are just right. When looking at this, it looks all straight, upright and proper, but twist it a little and you get all kinds of curves. While the rigidity of the Rainbow was initially a turn off for me, I soon realized that by varying the movements just right, the curves found the best places to go, and the solid lines didn't make so much difference. In fact, they can be used for additional pressure here and there, with a little practice, then a little more, and then, well, you get the picture.

One of the best things I found about this toy was the temperature play. The very first thrust of a vibe or dildo is always great for me, because of the coldness. This can be used to the extreme with a glass toy. I wouldn't recommend a freezer, but a really cold fridge can do wonders. It is as good as ice cubes, but no flood. Conversely, heat is good too. With a quick run under hot water, this feels as good as a strong hot blooded man feels. Well, not as good really, but still good, very good.
