Astrovibes ScorpioThis toy is made of a great material that provides good vibrations. The sound was discreet enough, but this is not a beginner's toy. The shape and design can be uncomfortable at times, and it is not waterproof which is a deal breaker for some. It personally wasn't my favorite, but for some other person, it might be.
Made of silicone, Nice vibrations, No strong odors
Ridges and pointedness can be uncomfortable, Not waterproof
This vibrator can be used for clitoral stimulation or internal use. The toy has nice vibrations that are evenly distributed throughout the toy. I wouldn't recommend this toy for beginners, but instead, I would recommend it for more advanced users who are more used to larger sizes. This toy isn't waterproof, so you can pass on any shower/tub sessions, and regular play works just fine.
The toy is made of pure silicone, so it's very safe. It's actually soft to touch and not sticky. It does bend but not to the point that it is sagging over. It doesn't have a strong scent to it at all. This was my first silicone toy. For some reason, when I took it out of the box, it kind of smelled like play-doh to me. Not in a bad way where it was overbearing or anything, but it was just the first thing that came to mind.
Even though Scorpio is not my sign, out of all the Astrovibes, I thought this one had the most appealing look compared to the other signs. This toy is definitely not travel-size or discreet because of the size and its red color. The size can be intimidating to some, so it is definitely not for some beginners. I found that the ridges and the pointedness of tip of the toy was sometimes uncomfortable - even with lube. It is definitely a toy that you have to ease in and position a certain way for it to feel right.
The toy does have really nice vibrations. Just make sure to use new batteries. It uses 2 AA batteries which, for some reason, there was no directions on how to place the batteries in the toy, so I had to just flip them around till it came on. Besides that little set back, it was not hard to figure it out. It has a turn dial as a controller at the bottom of the toy which allows for multiple speeds. The vibrations are actually distributed pretty evenly through out. I thought the sound was reasonable. It wasn't loud enough that you could hear through a door. This toy is not waterproof so no water play or anything.
I usually just wash my toy in warm water with a little soap. The ridges can pose a setback for people who like quick cleans, but it's not to the point where you are standing up for thirty minutes cleaning the ridges out. This toy picks up lint very easily, so I just recommend air drying it when you finish and running it under some water before use. I usually just store it in the box that the toy came in, so storage isn't a big problem for me. It's not the most discreet toy. I would definitely recommend a lube as a must have for this toy. Of course, stay away from the silicone-based lube and just go for the water-based.
The toy comes in a nice little box with a sample of lube that I didn't use because it has glycerin in it, so I didn't want to take the chance. It seemed like they put a lot time the packaging design to make it nice-looking and not seem tacky like some toys. The box can be reused to put the toy back in if you want to.
