Although the box is alluring and would make a beautiful addition to any "toy" box, what's the point of having pretty toys if they don't feel great? This product's purpose is a good one, but I would recommend learning how to do kegel exercises on your own, without a device...it's free!!!Published: July 1, 2008

I purchased these Ben Wa Balls after my second pregnancy, to get my vaginal muscles back into shape. Kegel exercises fortify muscle tone by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles. As you strengthen your kegel muscles, you have better control during sex and can even give yourself more opportunities for orgasms. Did you know that pelvic floor muscles are even weakened by cesarean sections, not just natural child birth? They are also good to strengthen during your pregnancy to prepare for labor.
When they arrived, I was enticed by the beautiful packaging. These shiny gold balls are encased in an eye-catching clear case, and rest on red velvet. Seriously, these royal babies look like they were begging to be played with. The balls were smaller than I had thought they would be, but made up in weight what they lacked in size.
Insertion involved minimal difficulty or effort, but they were not as comfortable as I had hoped for. Although these are designed to strengthen muscles, there is a subtle sensation when wearing them once you get over the initial oddity of them. Also, removal required exceptional skill. I felt like a fisherman trying to "hook" them out.
Overall, I would rather do my kegel exercises the old fashioned way. By "squeezing" the muscle 50 times whenever I think about it (in bed, at my desk, anywhere...). You can learn what muscle this is by sitting on the toilet and starting to pee. Stop the urine midstream. You are doing this by using your kegel muscle. Not only is the a much easier solution, it's also one that doesn't cost any money. I have heard that some people use these balls to stay stimulated before they have sex, but I would recommend trying another product, as these did not provide enough stimulation for me to orgasm any sooner...

You might try pushing them out with your pelvic floor muscles- another good way to exercise them!
