Curious, Indeed
It's equally perplexing that Bswish's sophomore effort at a clitoral stimulator is so weak and frustrating that it's so well made and appealing to the eye. If you require pressure or anything more than the slightest vibration from your clitoral vibrators, Bcurious is simply not worth the price.Published: January 31, 2010
Pros:
Well made, pretty, silicone, easy to use, rechargeable, quiet, multi-function
Cons:
weak, high pitched vibrations, not good for pressure
When this ergonomic, clitoral stimulator hit the market it quickly roused the curiosity of consumers. It would appear that Bcurious is the most aptly named toy by BSwish, yet.
This tiny vibrator rivals the Layaspot in size and is just under 4.5” in length width a width of 1.5”. It’s also incredibly light in weight which makes it easy to maneuver but does lack the reassuring heft of some weightier toys. Still, this makes it a bit easier on the joints for anyone with hand or wrist issues. The entire toy is coated in a silky black silicone over what I assume is hard plastic, with a dark magenta border (in a slightly softer silicone) running along the seams. The seams, although noticeable, pose no issues during use or cleaning. The overall presentation is of one classy vibrator.
From the side, Bcurious looks astonishingly like a traditional wooden clog: its rounded bottom curls up to a pointy end on one side and a raised, broader space on the other side, where the controls sit (much like the foot hole of the clog). It does not scream “sex toy.” The curved of the pointed tip can be placed around the mons for a comfortable fit, allowing the tip to stimulate the clitoris. This is the ideal use for the Bcurious and will apply to anyone who likes vibrations but does not require pressure as the material is quite hard and can be painful if pressure is used. One could potentially used the Bcurious with the opposite side pressed against the vulva for a more broad sensation but the vibration are significantly less stimulating in this position.
In either position, the controls of the Bcurious are incredibly easy and comfortable to use. The controls consist of two buttons, a master power button and a button which cycles through the settings. The digital buttons have a soft, bubbly feel and are easy to by feel. They are outlined and backlit by a blue LED light which makes them easy to find in the dark as well.
Bcurious has 3 steady vibration settings, followed by escalation, pulsation, faster pulsation and, finally, a short-short-short-long pulsation. The vibrations are extremely high pitched, perhaps the buzziest of any non-bullet vibrator I have ever used (the type which make my hand tickle uncomfortably), making Bcurious best for those who are sensitive to vibrations or for foreplay. The levels of steady vibration are difficult to distinguish from one another and the pulsation doesn’t have the throbbing “oomph” of other vibrators. The vibrations are focused in the pointy end which is why I suggest using it with the point touching the clit; the vibrations are almost null if one were to use the broader side, instead. Unfortunately, I would prefer to use the broad side so Bcurious is quite the disappointment for me, personally.
It’s quite confounding for two reasons: one of the biggest complaints about the predecessor to Bcurious (Bsoft) was the weak vibrations and Bcurious is rechargeable and. I am not sure why Bswish would craft a beautiful and high quality vibrator without increasing the strength of vibrations. Furthermore, I do have certain expectations of my rechargeable toys and one of those is that they pack some punch. Even the Layaspot, powered by 2AAA batteries, is ridiculously stronger than Bcurious. Bcurious is acceptably quiet for its power.
Nevertheless, Bswish did take one thing into consideration when designing their second clitoral stimulator: the cover of the charging socket. With Bsoft, the soft plastic cover was incredibly loose and never stayed in place. The improved cover on Bcurious is much smaller and tighter so it stays in place. Once in place, it sits flush with the surface of the toy but easily is opened with a finger(nail). The charger plugs into this port perpendicularly and the LED light around the controls will pulsate when the Bcurious charges. When the charge is finished, the light will remain lit. Admittedly, I have yet to use the Bcurious until the battery drains and the included information does not state how long the charge should take or last. It does say that Bcurious should not be charged for over 24 hours, however.
Although Bcurious is waterproof (and I have no hesitations about shower use), the instructions are generic and recommend cleaning with a damp cloth and anti-bacterial soap while warning against using harsh chemicals like alcohol or acetone. I did wash mine with soap and water without issue but I made sure the port cover was secure.
After washing and drying Bcurious, it can be stored in the included pouch which is a soft, fluffy material. The box isn’t too bulky and can be used to store the vibrator and its accessories but is not quite as convenient or discreet as the pouch.

Experience
Sadly, there is no way the Bcurious will ever get close to getting my off. The vibrations are simply far too high pitched and the end too pointy.

Bcurious vs. Mimi
-
I was curious which was a better option in noise level and strength.
-
MiMi is much stronger. Bcurious is quieter though.
-
Yah, I wonder about the differences between these two as well

Actors and actresses being held avouve the law
-
Hate that actors are not treated like regular citizens. They should be held accountable just like we are. Thoughts?
-
I agree and even when its a solid case with evidence they still get great lawyers who can get them out

woodpacker75How long does this Bcurious last when using this product. Can it be used on other parts of the body besides the Clitoral? Is "one" from the rating of one to five for this product a discreet toy that it's powerful yet the noise is a lot less than other products? -
The bcurious can be used anywhere you may want surface vibrations, just not for insertion. It's not made in a way that insertion is really even possible, other than perhaps just the tip.
I haven't run it completely out yet to see the exact time the charge lasts but I will say I've gotten three twenty to thirty minute uses out of mine on a charge. So, at least an hour or better.
It charges in two hours and most rechargeable toys last about two hours so I'd say this is likely the same.
It's very powerful, more so than my other rechargeable toys, and is so quiet you can barely hear it. It's not as powerful as a plug in massager, of course, but it's certainly as powerful as a very good bullet vibe.
Hope that helps! -
