Use

This toy is best suited for clitoral stimulation. It can be inserted for g-spot stimulation, but its straight design and hard metal material may be difficult for beginners new to gspot stimulation. Because it is a pin point vibrator it provides accurate stimulation to any part of the body, including around the anus and on the nipples. If you plan to use it around the anus, be sure to not also use it in the vagina to prevent disease.

The toy can also be heated or cooled down for temperature play.

Material / Texture

This vibrator is made out of non-porous, phthalates free, latex free, food-grade highly durable metal. It is extremely safe for the body, ranking 9 out of 10 amongst toy materials. In addition to its safety benefits, the material holds heat and cold for temperature play. Metal is also quite versatile, as it is safe to use with oil, water, or silicone based lubricants.

As far as how it feels, it is extremely smooth, and the motor stays cool when in use. The vibrator also has no odor or taste.

Design / Shape / Size

The Little Chroma has a straightforward design that makes it discreet and easy to use. With a length of 5 1/4 inches, (4 3/4 inches insertable)and a 5/8 inch diameter, this little powerhouse is about the size of a marker. There is also a small loop on the control base end on the toy to tie on a not included string for safe removal. (No need to worry about not being able to pull it out.) Because of its slim size and straight design it is best suited for pinpoint stimulation. Advanced users may be able to reach their g-spot with the toy, but I have not been able to.

It is a very good toy for a beginner because it is easy to figure out how to use. It is also a great gift and appropriate for travel.

Functions / Performance / Controls

For the simplicity of its design, this vibrator sure can perform. It is really straightforward and great for the first time user, which I happened to be. The vibrator is turned on by turning the dial base to begin the motor. The more the base is turned, the more powerful the vibrations become. The drawback to this is that you never know exactly what level you are at. Also, turning the base can become tricky if your fingers are wet, or you only have one hand available even though it has ridges in it.

Once you turn it on, vibrations occur at the opposite end of the toy and can range from 3 Vrooms to 5 Vrooms. The sensation is pin point, and works great if you also apply pressure to the area you are vibrating.

The toy is very quiet when functioning at full power. When the on/off dial is not turned all the way it is slightly louder than when it is fully engaged. It is also louder when the batteries are drained. For the most part it is 1 Bee but at worst it can be 2 bees. The toy uses 1 AA battery and last for up to 16 hours.

One of the coolest features of this product is not that fact that it can be cooled, actually its the fact that its waterproof. According to the box it can be practically taken into the pool. I have yet to try that, but it functions in a bathtub just fine.

Care and Maintenance

This vibrator is easy to take care of and store. It is made of metal, so it can be thoroughly cleaned with antibacterial soap and water. The battery and motor is removeable, so the toy may also be boiled.

When cleaning, pay attention to the grooves in the on/off switch however, because it can store dirt. A little extra attention while cleaning it can prevent buildup. Storage for this vibrator is easy as it can be stored in its original packaging.

Packaging

One of my favorite things about this product is the packaging. It comes in a small box that slides out to display the vibrator. It is not easily noticeable as an adult toy.

Follow-up commentary
Ive had my Little Chroma for almost a year now and I still like it. Although the vibrator is pretty indestructible, I did something to it and now it shakes a little and makes a lot of noise.

It happened when I tried to put batteries in it after storage. I typically replace the batteries each time, and this time I used recyclable batteries. They were a little larger than the holder and I could not get them in. I pressed harder and forced them in. That was a bad idea, but I was still able to get Little Chroma to turn on. When it did turn on it shook and vibrated very loudly, possibly at 4 bees. It scared me so I banged the batteries out of it and replaced them with regular sized batteries. The loud buzzing continued and I haven't been able to make it stop. When I use it with pressure the noise is softened, but I think the vibrations are not as strong also.


Other than the fact that I think I may have broken my little chroma, I still like it. I may try to get it fixed, (It has a lifetime warranty.) but even as-is, its size and design is still perfect for getting the job done.

      I have bought 2. The first chipped on concrete while transporting it to my boyfriends house. I think it had repeated shocks to the motor because I was dropping it while I was getting out of the bath. Then the motor became noisy and not so effective. I moved on to my eroscillator for a while, but eventually I bought another little choma because I missed it so much. So yes, I think it is worth it. And if you look after it it will look after you. Tie a strap around the end of the little chroma if you're going to use it in the shower so then you won't drop it. This is easily done, there are holes for such a strap. If transporting it elsewhere keep it in a nice safe pouch. Don't grab it on the way out of the house without putting it away in your bag anyhow. You may regret it later.

      As far as vibrators go, my clitoris is an extremely fussy girl. I can get off with the eroscillator or the little chroma, but anything else has honestly been rather a difficult endeavour. I've tried decent bullets and pocket rockets and traditional vibrators but none has come close. I've tried a vibrator with weird patterns. Honestly, all you need is this one speed. It varies in intensity across the shaft. The little chroma has a decent power at a discreet noise level. It also has a beautiful hard smoothness and doesn't cause irritation. As goldilocks would say 'It's just right'. Just make sure your batteries are charged (the only ones that fit are eneloop), or get some fresh non-rechargable ones before you judge its power.

      Plus they are pretty!

    • So I've been looking into Jimmyjane more and more the past few months after all the hype finally got to me. The toy that seems to tickle my fancy the most would be the little chroma. The whole high quality, small, sleek, simple, quiet, waterproof, metal thing really gets me going. However, the sexiest version of the toy for me is the steel version *pictures it sitting innocently next to my mac, complemented by the brushed steel lamp on the bedside table*, which costs a whopping $195. Now, I'm okay with spending the money on a single toy, as long as it's the right toy. Trouble is, I've been to maybe 12 adult toy stores in three different cities around my state, NC, and not only did the majority of them not carry Jimmyjane toys, the only ones that did were adam and eve and although the chain carries a few of the toys, the specific stores did not. What's worse, some of the other stores had never even heard of Jimmyjane. And yeah, it took some effort to not exclaim "and you do this for a living?!?!" Anyways...

      Not being able to see, touch, test/witness the vibration of the toys before hand is a big problem to me, especially when dealing with such expensive toys.

      Does anyone have any idea where I can get my hands on any of their friggin products? I mean sheesh, I'd be willing to make a minitrip to a surrounding state for funzies at this point. SEX TOY ROADTRIP! I just have to lay my eyes on em, ya know? Sneaky little things... Has anyone else had the same experience with not being able to find them?

      Or can anyone who owns a little chroma/little something offer a more specific comparison of power to some other more available and comparable toy? I've read all the reviews on this site as well as others. I just want something more like, "at the strongest point it feels similar in intensity to the (#) setting of (manufacturer)'s (toy name)." If that's at all possible...
