Even though The Groovies Wave was a freebie, it was a wonderful surprise. For as cheap a vibe as it is, and free at this moment, this is an amazingly powerful little vibe that does more than expected.Published: April 19, 2011

It's always a nice surprise when something that you don't expect anything from turns out to be an amazing little thing. I know we have all been there with something or another thing. I know that it seems to happen to me a lot, especially with sex toys. I've had so many duds over the years that I think that I just expect the worst and then am happily surprised when it really is a good toy.
The Groovies Wave was one of those moments.
The Groovies Wave is a traditional vibrator and I ended up getting the purple one. It's made of plastic and has a velvety texture to it. It's only five and a half inches long, with four and a half inches of insertable length. It has a diameter of only an inch. It takes two AAA batteries. There is a piece of paper in the battery compartment. Keep the paper in the vibrator, it helps keep the sound of it down. I have made this mistake a few times with over vibrators. So if you are playing in a place that you don't want to get caught, keep the paper in. It's powered by a button on the base of the vibe. There is seven different vibrations. There is some very soft vibrations and others are very powerful. A few of the settings have different patterns of vibrations. You can clean it with just warm water and soap or with a toy cleaner. And if you are sharing it with others, remember to use a condom to help keep it clean and help keep everyone safe.
I wasn't expecting very much from The Groovies Wave at all. Usually vibes that are powered by AAA batteries aren't that strong when it comes to vibrations, but this little vibe really was powerful at it's strong settings. The patterned vibrations was another happy surprise too. I really didn't expect that from a vibe that was only twenty bucks. Yes, I would expect that from the pricey ones, but not a cheaper one.
The contours of The Groovies Wave also move wonderful with the way a woman's body is set up. The bulbs of it feel amazing going in and out of the body.

My Groovies Wave has started to live in my travel box. It goes with me when ever I head out from home for more than a few hours. It's always good to have a great vibe on hand when on the road.

Depends on what kind you are looking for (clitoral, g-spot, combination). I would suggest figuring out what kind you want. You can filter the product listings by that type and then sort by rating. Check out the reviews. If you can narrow it down to a few that you like, you can post a comparative discussion to the forum to get some additional feedback.

That's a really vague question. If you're just getting started, I would recommend any toy made up of a body-friendly material (such as silicone) and familiarize yourself with what toys are made of and the pros and cons of each type of material. The more hygienic materials tend to cost more, but they are worth it in the end because they will last longer and are more body-friendly.

Groovie Waves not working?

Are other people having problems with the Groovie Waves spontaneously quitting? I received it and attempted to use it as directed but I barely got it inserted before it sputtered twice and died. I've been doing my kegels but I don't think I'm THAT good yet ;) Just curious if others are having problems.

Mine worked fine.. hasn't given me any trouble and I've had it a couple of weeks. (knock on wood!) hehe!
